NESCAC men’s cross country teams competed in three different NCAA Regional races across the Northeast on Saturday, November 15.
East Regional – Hopkinton, N.H. | Results
The Tufts Jumbos were the runners-up at the East Regional race at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. The Jumbos totaled 49 points to take second place and were followed by Colby (104 pts) in third and Bates (124 pts) in fourth. Bowdoin rounded out the NESCAC squads with a seventh-place finish and 269 points.
MIT won the team competition with 42 points, with the Engineer runners finishing 4-6-7. Fitchburg State’s Paulino Guevara Mateo was the individual winner with a time of 24:31.6, just nipping Tufts’ Amokrane Aouchiche by a second (24.32.6).

Mideast Regional – Canton, N.Y. | Results
In the Mideast Regional race hosted by St. Lawrence in Canton, N.Y., five NESCAC teams finished in the top 10, and Trinity placed 11th in the team standings.
Williams totaled 95 points to lead the conference contingent and finish as the runners-up in the team standings. Middlebury (104 pts), Wesleyan (109 pts), and Amherst (111 pts) took third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Conn. College earned seventh place with 219 points, and Trinity rounded out the NESCAC teams with 336 points (11th place).
RPI was the team champion with 44 points, and Nathan Tassey of Roger Williams claimed the individual title with a winning time of 25:05.5.

Niagara Regional – Rochester, NY | Results
The Hamilton Continentals finished fourth in the team standings at the Niagara Regional race. Liam Card led Hamilton with a time of 25:52.6 to finish 21st overall.
SUNY Geneseo won the regional with 29 points as the Knights finished 1-2-3, led by Ryan Hagan’s winning time of 24:11.7.
