BRUNSWICK, Maine – Top-seeded Bowdoin and No. 2-seeded Tufts will meet in the 2026 NESCAC Men's Lacrosse Championship Game on Sunday, May 3 at Noon at Bowdoin's Whittier Field.
The Polar Bears will play for the NESCAC title for the first time since 2022 and the fifth time in team history. Bowdoin is seeking its first conference crown in program history after being Runners-up in 2022, 2012, 2008, and 2001.
Tufts, which owns the most NESCAC titles at 12, is playing in the championship game for the 14th time in 17 tournaments. The Jumbos are the defending NESCAC Champions and have won 12 of the last 14 tournaments.
The teams met in the regular-season finale on April 22 in Medford, Massachusetts. Bowdoin posted a 14-12 victory, snapping the Jumbos' 42-game win streak. Tufts holds a 6-1 advantage in the NESCAC Tournament series. The teams last met in the 2022 championship game with the Jumbos winning, 20-11.

No. 1 Bowdoin def. No. 6 Hamilton, 17-11 | Box Score
Bowdoin (16-0) scored five of the game's first six goals en route to a 17-11 win over Hamilton. The Continentals closed the second quarter with a 3-1 spurt to cut into the Bowdoin lead for a 9-5 margin at the half. In the third quarter, Casey Ryan scored three goals in nine minutes to push the Polar Bears' advantage to 13-5, and Bowdoin led by as many as nine in the fourth frame. Ryan finished with nine points on six goals and three assists to lead all scorers. Carson Kraus scored seven of Hamilton's 11 goals to pace the Continentals.
No. 2 Tufts def. No. 5 Bates, 15-7 | Box Score
Brooks Hauser was one of nine Jumbos to register a goal in Tufts' 15-7 win over Bates. Hauser finished the game with a team-high four goals and added two assists for six points. Tufts built a 6-0 lead after the opening frame and led 8-1 at the break. The Jumbos limited Bates to six goals over the remaining two quarters. Connor Hartman paced the Bobcats with four goals.
