WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Middlebury maintained the lead at the 2026 NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship hosted by Taconic Golf Club (Par 71, 5,826 yards). The Panthers own a four-stroke lead over Amherst, and the top four teams are within nine strokes of the top of the leaderboard.
Middlebury carded 10 birdies, including three on No. 18, to post the lowest round of the day (291) for the second straight day. Morgan Lee led the Panthers with a round of 70 (-1), which included two birdies and just one bogey. Teammate Season Wei added an even-par round of 71 while Ella Hand (73) and Julia Hua (77) rounded out the scoring golfers for the Panthers.
Amherst’s Mekhala Costello leads the field after the second round. The sophomore shot a -3 68 with three birdies and just one bogey. The Mammoths sit second after a +8 round on day two.
The final day of the NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship gets underway at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 3.
