HADLEY, Mass. – The 2026 NESCAC Women’s Golf Awards, as voted on by the league’s coaches, were announced. Williams’ Euna Lee was named the NESCAC Golfer of the Year for the second straight year, while the NESCAC Rookie of the Year honor was shared by Amherst's Emma Lindemoen and Middlebury's Season Wei. Amherst head coach Elizabeth Geene was voted as the NESCAC Coach of the Year by her peers.
Lee, a four-time All-NESCAC First Team golfer, is the eighth Eph to earn the NESCAC Golfer of the Year honor since the 2015-16 season. In 2026, Lee holds a scoring average of 72.3 and finished in the top 10 in six of the seven tournaments the Ephs have played. The senior earned runner-up honors at the Northeast Invitational and the Polar Bear Shootout events. Lee, who finished in a tie for fifth at the NESCAC Championships, helped Williams finish third overall and earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Lindemoen, who also earned a spot on the All-NESCAC First Team, contributed to Amherst's victory at the NESCAC Championship as the Mammoths won the title for the third time in program history. The first-year is the fourth Amherst golfer to be selected as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and first since the 2021-22 season. Lindemoen finished in a tie for eighth at the NESCAC Championship and owns a scoring average of 73.5 this season. Lindemoen was the medalist at the George Phinney Classic at Middlebury and finished third at the Williams Fall Invitational.
Wei was the runner-up at the NESCAC Championship with a three-day total of 220 (73-71-76) and helped Middlebury finish as NESCAC Runners-Up in the team competition. The first-year, who was also an All-NESCAC First Team selection, is the first Middlebury golfer to be named NESCAC Rookie of the Year. Wei's scoring average stands at 73.1 this season, and she has four top 10 finishes in the last four tournaments. Wei and the Panthers earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Women's Golf Championship.
Geene, who is in her 10th season at the helm of the Mammoths, is the NESCAC Coach of the Year for the fourth time in her career. She led Amherst to its third NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship in 2026. The Mammoths, who earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship by virtue of winning the title, used a come-from-behind effort to win the conference title. Amherst was down four strokes heading into the final round.
