Three NESCAC Teams Finish in Top 10 at NCAA Women's Golf Championship

PALM DESERT, Calif. - All three NESCAC teams finished in the top 10 in the final results of the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California.
 
Top-ranked Emory defended its NCAA title with a first-place finish of +2, while No. 2 Carnegie Mellon was seven strokes back at +9, and No. 3 New York University finished +14 to round out the top three teams.
 
No. 5 Amherst, the NESCAC Champions, led the conference contingent, finishing seventh overall at +36 (300-298-300-290), No. 8 Middlebury, the NESCAC Runners-Up, finished ninth at +44 (298-292-303-303), and No. 4 Williams placed 10th at +51 (306-295-294-308).
 
Amherst’s seventh-place finish is the second-best in program history. On the final day, Renna Change fired a -4 under 68 behind seven birdies. The first year finished with a four-day total of 302 (76-78-80-68). Classmate Emma Lindemoen also had an impressive round with a -1 under round of 71, finishing tied for ninth (298-73-72-73-71).
 
Middlebury logged program lows in total score (+44) and total strokes (1,196) in NCAA play in team history. The Panthers’ Ella Han led all NESCAC golfers on the individual leaderboard, finishing fifth with a final round score of 72. Han’s fifth-place finish marks the highest individual finish at the NCAA Championship in team history.
 
Williams was led by the NESCAC Golfer of the Year Euna Lee in the final round. Lee fired a team-low 73, including a -2 under 34 on the back nine. After a 78 in the first round, Lee shot 71, 72, 73 over the final three rounds to finish 19th on the leaderboard and close out her collegiate career.
 
Aubrey Lee of Hamilton and Amanda Phillips of Wesleyan qualified for the NCAA Championship as individuals. Over the first two days of the tournament, Lee posted rounds of 75 and 76 to finish +7, while Phillips shot an even-par 72 and 81 to finish at +9. Neither made the cut to advance to the final two rounds.
