INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division III women’s golf committee announced the 34 teams and six individuals that will participate in the 2026 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships. The field includes three NESCAC teams and two individuals from the conference. Amherst, the NESCAC Champions, were an automatic selection, while NESCAC Runner-Up Middlebury and Williams were at-large selections. Hamilton's Aubrey Lee and Amanda Phillips of Wesleyan were two of the six individuals selected to compete in the tournament.
Twenty-six conferences have been awarded automatic qualification, and the remaining eight teams were selected on an at-large basis from conferences and independent institutions. Six individuals, not from selected teams, were also selected for the championships.
The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. Following 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on those teams to compete in the final two rounds. In the team competition, the lowest four scores from each team for each day will count in the team’s total score.
The championships will be conducted May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges will serve as the host.
