NESCAC Volleyball Co-Players of the Week
Tatum Baker – Williams - So. - OH – Portola Valley, Calif.
Baker posted double-digit kills in each of the Ephs' four wins last week (4-0), averaging 3.8 kills and 3.1 digs per set and hitting .336 overall. She had two double-double matches (kills and digs), including a career-high 18 kills, to go along with 11 digs, in the Ephs' five-set win over Union. Baker was named to the Crosstown Challenge All-Tournament Team for her efforts.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
AmherstRenee Liou (Overland Park, Kan.) sparked Amherst to a 4-0 week with 155 assists over four matches and 14 sets (10.33 aps) and only three errors. The junior also contributed seven kills, kills blocks, and 33 digs over the week. In a 3-1 win over Buffalo State, Liou had 43 assists with 0 errors, an ace, and four digs.

Bates - Through six matches, Ellie Asada (Honolulu, Hawaii) leads the NESCAC in service aces per set at 1.10. The junior picked up a pair of service aces to go along with 11 digs on Wednesday against Maine Maritime Academy. Asada picked up the pace over the weekend with five service aces and five digs in a 3-0 win over Salem State and three service aces and six digs against Smith.

Bowdoin - Sophomore setter Cameron Shelly (Austin, Texas) sparked the  Polar Bears to a 3-1 week. In addition to averaging 6.0 assists per set, Shelly had a nine-ace performance in a win over Brandeis and collected 31 digs in four matches.

Colby - Junior LJ Grant (New York, N.Y.) led the Mules to two wins at the NYU Tournament, including a four-set victory over No. 7 NYU and two five-set wins over William Patterson and Scranton.  The outside hitter led all competitors in points in all three matches, averaging 13 kills (2.75 kips) and 10 digs per match (2.71 dps) while totaling 15 service aces.  The outside hitter’s 10 aces against Scranton tied a program record and she was one kill shy of a triple-double (9 kills, 10 aces, 14 digs).  Grant posted a hitting percentage of .306 in the tournament finale against the Violets and finished with a .203 hitting percentage for the week.

Connecticut CollegeMila Chan (San Francisco, Calif.) recorded a team-high 32 kills over 11 sets last week as the Camels posted a 2-1 record in non-league action. After supplying five kills in a midweek win over Elms, the rookie hit .526 and tallied a match-high 11 kills while adding 10 digs in a victory against Worcester State. Chan ended the week with a match-high 16 kills in a five-set loss at Coast Guard and chipped in two aces and a season-high 19 digs.   

HamiltonDrew Stimson (Belvedere Tiburon, Calif.) posted a .500 hitting percentage (31-3-56) and averaged 3.1 kills in 10 sets as the Continentals went 3-0 at home. Stimson tied a career-high with 16 kills and added three blocks in a four-set win against SUNY Morrisville. The senior posted eight kills without an error and had three blocks in a three-set sweep of Keuka. Stimson also contributed seven kills in another three-set victory against St. Lawrence.

Middlebury -  Molly Harrison (Tiburon, Calif.) helped propel Middlebury to a 2-1 weekend, including knocking off nationally-ranked Wesleyan. The Panther tallied 48 kills and 33 digs on the weekend, highlighted by a season-high 19 kills and 15 digs against the Cardinals. Harrison recorded one service ace against Wesleyan, helping Middlebury record its most in a match (17) since 2013. The sophomore leads the NESCAC with 98 kills and ranks second in kills per set (3.50).

Trinity – Senior Eva Lekovic (San Marino, Calif.) led the Bantams in kills across a trio of victories last week that gave Trinity its first 7-0 start in program history. In a five-set battle with Eastern Connecticut, Lekovic matched a career-high .500 hitting percentage with 23 kills, five digs, and two blocks. In a pair of 3-0 wins against Mass. Maritime and Southern Maine, Lekovic delivered 13 kills and four digs against the Buccaneers and added nine kills and two assists against the host Huskies.
