NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week
Skye LaMendoala – Bowdoin – Fy. – OH – Farmers Branch, Texas
LaMendola led the Polar Bears to a pair of upset wins on the first weekend of the NESCAC Championship, lifting No. 10 Bowdoin to the semifinals. LaMendola had a match-high 19 kills with nine digs at Hamilton on Friday before totaling 15 kills and 12 digs against second-seeded Colby on Sunday. For the weekend, she averaged 4.25 kills and 2.6 digs per set as the Polar Bears became the lowest seed to reach the semifinals of the championship. 

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Sophomore Charlotte Rasmussen (Los Angeles, Calif.) notched 18 kills over six sets last week, compiling 16 kills in the Mammoths' sweep over Connecticut College in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament. 

BatesAmi Evans (Honolulu, Hawaii) had a consistent week, recording five kills in a 3-0 win over Saint Joseph's College of Maine and five more kills in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament against Williams. The sophomore also had 11 digs and a service ace against the Monks. Evans ranks 15th in the NESCAC in kills per set.

Colby - Marjorie Johnson (Spring, Texas) led the Mules at the net with a season-high six blocks against Bowdoin in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. The first year also added seven kills.

Conn. CollegeKatherine Randall (Chicago, Ill.) paced the Camels with 22 kills over two matches last week and recorded a pair of double-doubles. The junior tallied a team-high 10 kills to go with 13 digs against Amherst in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. Earlier in the week Randall finished with 12 kills and 11 digs in a 3-1 victory over Mount Holyoke. 

MiddleburyMolly Harrison (Tiburon, Calif.) recorded her 10th double-double of the season on Sunday. The Panther recorded 15 kills and 16 digs, while dishing out a trio of service aces in the NESCAC Quarterfinal match versus Williams. The first year ranks third in the NESCAC with a .376 hitting percentage and 4.38 points per set. Harrison has totaled double-digit kills in 20 of 23 matches during her rookie campaign. 

Hamilton – Senior Kate Carman (New York, N.Y.) reached double digits in kills for the 15th time this season with a team-high 15 against Bowdoin in a NESCAC Championship First-Round match.

Trinity – Junior Eva Lekovic (San Marino, Calif.) led the Bantam attack with a match-high 15 kills, five digs, and two blocks in Trinity’s four-set loss to Tufts in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. 

TuftsEmma Heckman (San Diego, Calif.) had a career day for the Jumbos, as the first year finished with a career-high 13 kills on 28 attempts, hitting .393 while adding a career-best six digs and four assisted blocks. Her 15 points were a career-high, as the Jumbos topped Trinity in four games to advance to the NESCAC Semifinals. 

Wesleyan – The NESCAC digs leader, Bianca Ortiz (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) tallied 30 digs, averaging 10 per set, in a sweep of Amherst in the NESCAC Quarterfinal round. The 30 digs is a new career-high for Ortiz in a three-set match as the senior has 442 digs on the season, averaging 6.05 per set. Ortiz registered 15 digs in the third set alone against the Mammoths. 

Williams – Senior Celia Adams (Houston, Texas) posted a double-double performance on Sunday with 17 kills and 11 digs to lead the sixth-seeded Ephs to a five-set win over No. 3 Middlebury in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. For the week, Adams averaged a .310 hitting percentage overall in the Ephs' 2-0 start to NESCAC Tournament which also included a first-round win over No. 11 Bates.
