Liza Greene made the All-NESCAC Women's Cross Country Team after finishing in 13th place at the 2021 conference championship meet. She helped lead the Continentals to fourth place at the 2021 NCAA Niagara Region Championship by finishing 12th out of 141 runners. Greene's performance at the regional meet earned her all-region honors and qualified her for the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship.
Green finished in the top 20 in all seven races leading up to the national meet and was the fourth different Hamilton women's cross country runner to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the last five years. She was also an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field honoree after finishing in the top eight in the mile run at the 2022 indoor championships.
The sociology major is a three-time member of the NESCAC Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams and garnered 2021 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team accolades. She earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Athlete honors twice in cross country.
Green was also selected as Hamilton's female recipient of the Milton H. Jannone Award in 2022. The Jannone Awards are presented annually since 2009 to male and female senior athletes who exhibit outstanding athleticism, leadership, and academic accomplishment. Green also served as a campus tour guide during her time at Hamilton.
