NESCAC Women's Golfer of the Week - Sept. 15, 2026

The NESCAC Women's Golfer of the Week will be announced on Tuesdays throughout the fall and spring golf seasons.

NESCAC Women’s Golfer of the Week
Season Wei – Middlebury – So. – Warren, N.J.
Wei was the co-medalist among the 87-player field at the 36-hole Polar Bear Shootout at Brunswick GC.  Wei fired two consecutive under-par rounds of -2 (71) and -1 (72) for a two-day total of -3 (143).  Her two-day total of 143 (-3) was the best performance of her career and helped Middlebury take first place in the team standings.
 
NESCAC Honor Roll
Bowdoin – Rookie Hailey Lim (Lake Oswego, Ore.) tied for third in her first career collegiate event, shooting -2 overall and 1-under 72 each day. Lim led the field in par-4s, scoring (-3 for the event), had the third most pars (26) in the field, and only made four bogeys to go along with her six birdies.
 
HamiltonShanya Arasu (Jacksonville, Fla.) finished Bowdoin's Polar Bear Shootout tied for fifth out of 86 players. The senior was even for the weekend, shooting scores of 74-72.  The Continentals led the first round and ultimately finished fourth in the competitive field.
 
Wesleyan – Amanda Phillips (New York, N.Y.) was co-medalist at the two-day (36-hole) Polar Bear Shootout hosted by Bowdoin at Brunswick GC. Phillips carded a 3-under par total of 143 (69-74) out of 89 golfers. The first-round 4-under 69 was the tournament's low score and the junior’s collegiate career best. Wesleyan finished 10th out of 14 teams.
