Williams Wins 14th NESCAC Men's Golf Title

EAST HADDAM, Conn. – Williams fired a +6 (290) team score on the final day of the 2026 NESCAC Men’s Golf Championship at Fox Hopyard Golf Club to claim its 14th NESCAC crown and first since 2017.

The Ephs entered the day two shots behind Tufts, but stormed past the Jumbos in the third round. Jack Estrella led the way with a -3 round of 68, which included five birdies and just one bogey. Williams rookie Nick Smith was the medalist for the tournament with rounds of 71, 70, and 72 for a three-day total of 213, three strokes better than Estrella (75-73-68). Smith had 10 birdies and just eight bogeys over the 56-hole tournament.

Tufts finished as NESCAC Runners-Up with a team score of 891 (298-288-305). Hamilton placed third (308-297-301-906) while host Trinity (308-294-306) and Amherst (311-303-294) tied for fourth with scores of 908.
