Bowdoin Men's Golf Posts Top GPA in Division III; Polar Bears & Ephs Earn GCAA Academic Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – The 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
 
Bowdoin posted the top team GPA to lead all Division III men's golf teams and was named the 2025-26 GCAA Academic National Champion.
 
A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award. 155 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above in 2025-26.

Bowdoin and Williams earned Presidents Special Recognition from the GCAA for achieving team GPAs of 3.5 or higher. 

Additionally, Bowdoin placed five golfers and Williams had four golfer named to the GCAA 2025-26 Colbalt Golf All-America Scholars Team.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate’s degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must have participated in 50 percent of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their institution.
