NESCAC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Riley McClure – Bates - Jr. – M – Georgetown, Mass.
McClure was productive in all three games in a 3-0 week for the Bobcats, totaling nine goals, four assists, 13 points, and 10 ground balls. The midfielder recorded two goals and an assist in the snow against Emerson without turning the ball over. The junior recorded a career-high seven points, scoring five goals and dishing out two assists against Trinity in a 14-8 win for Bates. McClure closed the week with two goals and an assist in a 17-6 win over Wheaton. Bates is 6-0 and off to its best since 2017.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Arnold scored three times and picked up two ground balls in a loss to No. 1 Tufts Saturday, surpassing and equaling his 2025 totals.
Bowdoin – Junior
Casey Ryan (San Diego, Calif.) scored six goals, including four in a decisive 6-0 third-quarter run by the Polar Bears, to lead his team to a 17-9 road win at Hamilton on Saturday. He also added an assist in the win and is second only to teammate Chris Berry in the league with 11 points through two games this season.
Colby –
Eli Chilicki (North Berwick, Maine) tallied six points for the Mules last week. The first-year scored a goal and added two assists in a setback at Williams and collected his first career hat trick in a victory at Springfield. Chilicki has scored one or more goals in all three games for the Mules this season.
Conn. College –
Andrew Rainville (Watertown, Conn.) led the offense with five goals as the Camels went 1-1 last week. The sophomore netted four scores in a 10-6 victory over Coast Guard to open the week and scored once in a 9-7 setback in Conn. College's NESCAC opener at Middlebury. Rainville also scooped up three ground balls in each game, finishing with six for the week.
Hamilton – Sophomore
Jack Williams (Toronto, Ontario) made 19 saves and added six ground balls and a caused turnover in a 17-9 setback against third-ranked Bowdoin. Williams posted five stops, five ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a 10-8 loss at No. 12 St. John Fisher.
Middlebury –
Hayden Kern (Westlake Hills, Texas) was solid over a 2-0 week in front of the net for the Panthers. The senior opened the two-game slate with eight saves in a 16-7 victory over No. 18 RPI. Kern locked down in Saturday’s conference battle with Connecticut College, stopping a season-high 15 shots, including eight in the second half, to help Middlebury rally to a 9-7 triumph. Saturday’s performance against the Camels was Kern’s 34th with double-digit saves.
Tufts - Will Emsing (Norwell, Mass.) helped lead top-ranked Tufts to a 15-8 win over ranked Amherst. The junior finished with a game-high five points on two goals and three assists. The midfielder added a ground ball in the win and is one of four players on the Tufts team with double-digit points this season (11) through three games.
Wesleyan – The senior midfielder
Charlie Knapp (Novato, Calif.) produced back-to-back hat tricks for Wesleyan, who scored wins over Vassar at home and against No. 8 RIT in Philadelphia in a Sunday afternoon thriller. The two hat tricks are the first in Knapp's career as he leads the team with eight goals through three games this season. Knapp scored twice in the fourth quarter against RIT as the Cardinals overcame a two-goal deficit entering the final period to land a signature win over the Tigers.
Williams –
Will Doran (Princeton, N.J.) finished with four goals and one assist in an 18-10 victory over Colby. The senior also contributed an assist in a 10-8 win over visiting Union on Wednesday.
