Three Teams, 16 Student-Athletes Garner USILA Academic Accolades

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the organization's 2026 Scholar All-Americans and Academic Team Awards.

A total of 16 NESCAC student-athletes earned the Scholar All-America accolade from USILA. Amherst, Wesleyan, and Williams were honored with USILA 2026 Academic Team Awards for achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

In 1989 the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically and athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA selection committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.

To qualify for the Scholar All-America award, the student-athlete must be nominated by his coach, be a senior in academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) and have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. Nominees must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player. Each individual was additionally evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Scholar All-America committee.
