NESCAC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Jack Old – Tufts – So. – G – Columbus, Ohio  
Old helped Tufts to a 2-0 week, extending the Jumbos’ win streak to 35 games. Old made 29 saves while allowing only 12 goals in a pair of wins over Trinity and No. 7 Stevens. Old posted a .707 save percentage for the week, while adding seven ground balls. Against Trinity, Old tallied 14 stops in the cage and followed that up with 15 saves and five goals allowed against No. 7 Stevens in an 18-7 win.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Brendan Reilly (Manhasset, N.Y.) scored four goals and added two assists in a 13-11 come-from-behind win versus Swarthmore at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. The junior registered one assist in a loss to Christopher Newport and collected six groundballs on the week, including four against Swarthmore, and caused two turnovers. 

Bates – Gray Doyle (Summit, N.J.) recorded a hat trick, two ground balls, and caused a turnover at Middlebury. The junior finished with a shooting percentage of .667 and put the Bobcats ahead 11-10 with 13:49 left in the fourth quarter with his third goal of the game.

Bowdoin – Junior Casey Ryan (San Diego, Calif.) led Bowdoin to two road wins last week as the Polar Bears remained unbeaten on the year. Ryan scored six goals and had two assists in a midweek win at MIT before totaling three goals and three assists in a victory at Wesleyan. Ryan has 43 points through six games this season. 

Colby – Daniel O'Connor (Manhasset, N.Y.) tallied four goals and two assists in a 1-1 week for Colby. In a midweek victory against Clark, the first-year tallied the first multi-goal game of his career.  O'Connor backed that up with a two-goal, two-assist game against Hamilton. The midfielder ranks third for Colby in points. 

Conn. College – Andrew Rainville (Watertown, Conn.) scored a career-high five goals and one assist in a 12-8 loss at Williams. The sophomore notched a hat trick by the 11:08 mark of the second quarter and added his final two tallies in the fourth. Rainville also scooped up a pair of ground balls and caused a turnover in the setback.

Hamilton – Sophomore Andrew Higgins (Weston, Mass.) won 67 percent of the faceoffs and scooped up eight ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Continentals. Higgins won 18-of-27 faceoffs, collected six ground balls, and added a goal and an assist in an 18-10 win at Colby. The sophomore won 6-of-9 faceoffs and chipped in a goal, two ground balls, and a caused turnover in a 21-5 victory at Hartwick. The goals and assists were the first for Higgins at Hamilton.

Middlebury – Junior Will Ford (Denver, Colo.) was a key contributor in Middlebury’s lone game of the week, tying his career-high with four points (2G, 2A) to help the Panthers tally a 13-12 come-from-behind victory over No. 18 Bates. The attacker scored his first goal with 5:40 remaining in the third quarter, which ignited a 5-2 spurt for the Panthers to close out the game to seal the victory. Ford is the fifth Panther to have double-digit points on the season.

Trinity – Bo Page (Wayne, Pa.) powered the Bantams’ offense in a 2-1 week, tallying 14 points with five goals and nine assists. Page opened the week with four points on a goal and three assists in a victory over Clarkson and followed with a seven-point effort of three goals and four assists in a road win at Norwich. The junior added three points with a goal and two assists in a NESCAC battle with Tufts.

WesleyanWill Miller (San Francisco, Calif.) led the Cardinals with seven goals and two assists for nine points in two games last week. Miller recorded a season-high six points, including four goals, in a 14-13 overtime win over Top 10-ranked Stevens. The senior added a hat trick against Bowdoin. 

Williams – Will Doran (Princeton, N.J.) scored five goals with two assists in a 1-1 week for the Ephs. At No. 20 RPI, the senior finished with three goals and two assists in an 11-10 setback. Doran found the back of the net twice in a 12-8 NESCAC victory over Connecticut College.
