NESCAC Baseball NESCAC Player of the Week
Gibby Sullivan – Bates – Sr. – OF – Yarmouth, Maine
At Bard, Sullivan went 4-for-6 with six runs scored, seven RBI, a double, a triple, a home run, four walks, and a stolen base in a doubleheader sweep of the Raptors.  The senior sports a 1.927 OPS through five games and has driven in more runs this year (14) than he did all of last season (13) as the Bobcats (4-1) are off to their best start since 2013

NESCAC Baseball NESCAC Pitcher of the Week
Saahi Jetti – Amherst – Fy. – Des Moines, Iowa
Jetti made his collegiate debut a memorable one, coming on in relief to throw six no-hit, shutout innings while striking out 10 batters in the process. He walked only two as the Mammoths opened the season with a 5-0 win over Springfield College. Jetti picked up his first collegiate victory in the process.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Junior Charlie LaFreniere (Norwalk, Conn.) went 3-for-4 with a walk in a 5-0 win over Springfield, scoring twice and driving in one run.

Bates - John Tully (Framingham, Mass.) recorded a quality start and picked up his second straight win to begin the season on Saturday, tossing six innings of two-run ball in Game 1 of the Bobcats' doubleheader against Bard. The senior scattered six hits and struck out a pair of batters without issuing any walks in a 14-7 win for Bates.

Colby – Liam Shea-Gallagher (Wilbraham, Mass.) collected four hits in Saturday's season opener against the University of Maine-Farmington and added another in the nightcap to close the series with five hits.  The sophomore scored two runs, drove in a pair, and stole two bases … Keeler Vogt (North Yarmouth, Maine) earned the first win of his collegiate career in a 4-0 win over the University of Maine-Farmington.  The first-year used 63 pitches across five scoreless innings, striking out seven and scattering a pair of hits. Vogt struck out the side in the third and didn't allow a base runner until the fourth inning. 

Hamilton – Senior Taylor Kaufman (Burlingame, Calif.) had a hit in each of the Continentals' two games at No. 4/10 Johns Hopkins. Kaufman singled and drove in a run on Saturday and went 2-for-3 with a run, an RBI, a walk, two stolen bases, and was hit by a pitch on Sunday.

Middlebury – Junior Aiden Han (Vienna, Va.) tallied an impressive performance in Middlebury’s 11-0 and 8-5 sweep of Colby-Sawyer to open the 2026 season. The infielder went a combined 4-of-8 from the plate and added a team-high four runs batted in. Han was also 4-for-4 on putouts in the victories over the Chargers … Hank Lloyd (Toronto, Ontario) excelled on the mound in Middlebury’s doubleheader sweep of Colby-Sawyer to begin the campaign. In the 11-0 win in Game 1, the rookie tallied four innings of work and allowed just four runners to reach base while striking out five for his initial victory in a Middlebury uniform.

Trinity – Senior Tyler Bernstein (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) paced the Bantams at the dish in a pair of season-opening victories over the University of Hartford, posting a .667 batting average with a 2.111 OPS, four runs scored, three RBI, and eight total bases. After a 1-3 performance in the series opener,  Bernstein went 3-of-3 with three RBI, a double, and a home run in the Bantams' 12-0 victory in the nightcap … Junior Drew McGowan (Burlington, Mass.) tossed five shutout innings with three strikeouts in the Bantams' 12-0 victory over the University of Hartford. McGowan delivered an efficient outing, firing just 62 pitches across five frames with opponents batting .118.

Tufts – The Jumbos open the 2026 season on Wednesday, March 4 versus Eastern Connecticut at Sol Gittelman Park.

Wesleyan – Wesleyan begins the 2026 season facing Wheaton on Saturday, March 7, in the first game of a Spring Break trip to Florida.

Williams – First pitch of the 2026 season for the Ephs is a doubleheader at Springfield College on Saturday, March 7.
