NESCAC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Casey Ryan – Bowdoin – Jr. – A – San Diego, Calif.  
Ryan scored 10 goals and posted eight assists in a pair of Polar Bears wins as the team remained unbeaten this spring. The junior scored a season-best seven goals with three assists in a comeback win at Endicott to hand the Gulls their first loss of the season before sparking a second-half outburst with three goals and five assists in a conference win over Williams. For the week, Ryan had a hand in 18 of Bowdoin's 33 goals and leads the conference at 7.25 points per game this spring. 

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior Bennett Chow (Chicago, Ill.) scored seven goals and added two assists last week, a 1-1 campaign for the Mammoths who fell to Babson but rallied to beat Bates, 20-8. In the win over the Bobcats, Chow notched a team-high five goals and added an assist. In the loss to the Beavers, he scored twice, assisted on one goal, and collected one ground ball.

Bates – Junior Riley McClure (Georgetown, Mass.) tallied a hat trick against Amherst and recorded two ground balls. It was his sixth game recording three or more points for Bates this season.

Colby – Junior Easton Bello (Glenview, Ill.) tallied a goal and an assist in a setback against Wesleyan. Colby's third-leading scorer from a year ago now has goals in three straight games. 

Conn. College – Liam Horkan (Malden, Mass.) reached a career milestone while helping the Camels to a 2-1 record last week. The senior became the 10th player in program history to record 100 career goals, scoring four and adding an assist in an 18-12 road win over Salve Regina. Horkan also finished with four goals over the weekend at the Headstrong Diplomat Classic, notching a pair of scores against both Hamilton and Endicott. The attack ended the week with eight goals, three assists, and 11 points over the three games.

Hamilton – Sophomore Ryan Olivo (Basking Ridge, N.J.) posted six points (5G, 1A) in two wins for the Continentals in Pennsylvania. Olivo scored the game-winning goal with 3:43 left in the fourth quarter and scooped up a ground ball in an 8-7 victory against Connecticut College. The sophomore midfielder registered a career-high four goals and added one assist and a ground ball in a 12-9 triumph at Franklin & Marshall. Olivo had the assist on the goal that put Hamilton in the lead for good at 9-8 with 11:54 remaining in the fourth.

MiddleburyHayden Kern (Westlake Hills, Texas) tallied double-digit saves over back-to-back contests. The senior opened the weekend with a season-high 16 stops as the Panthers held on for a 10-9 victory over Trinity. Kern kept the 10 or more trend going, tallying 15 in a hard-fought 14-9 loss at No. 8 Babson. The goalie became the fourth player in program history to surpass 700 career saves.

Tufts - Goalkeeper Jack Old (Columbus, Ohio) helped the No. 1 Jumbos to wins over Denison and No. 2 Christopher Newport at the Mustang Classic last weekend at Stevenson University. Old made five stops while allowing just three goals, in 45 minutes in a 16-6 win over Denison. The sophomore followed up with 15 saves against the Captains in a 17-9 win. Old’s .667 save percentage is the best among goalies in the NESCAC.

Williams – Jack Sartorius (Summit, N.J.) scored four goals in a 15-9 victory over Vassar. The sophomore added a hat trick against No. 3-ranked Bowdoin.
