Hamilton College's Jack Quinn was selected the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday, October 12.

The honor is the first for Quinn, who led the Continentals to the team title in the 2026 Hamilton Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, October 10. The senior paced the 89-runner field with a time of 25:20.1 on the eight-kilometer course. The victory was the third of Quinn's career on his home course. He also won this meet in 2023 as a first-year.

Quinn and the Continentals are back on their home course for the Hamilton Tune-Up on Saturday, Oct. 24. The men's race starts at 11:45 a.m.

This is the fifth time in program history that a male athlete from Hamilton has been named M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week during the cross country season. Quinn joins 2021 honoree Bram Mansbach, 2016 honoree Jack Pierce, 2015 honoree Charles Pfander, and 2013 honoree Adam Pfander in that regard.
