NESCAC Cross Country Runners of the Week
Men
Dylan Cote - Wesleyan – Jr. – North Andover, Mass.
Cote won Wesleyan’s Cardinal Invitational with a personal-best time of 24:12.4 and finished more than four seconds faster than the rest of the 131 runners in the field. Wesleyan finished third among nine teams and a field that featured four nationally ranked squads.
Women
Kiera Tallas – Conn. College – Sr. – Fountain Valley, Calif.
Tallas was the top Division III finisher and placed fourth overall at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Gold Race that featured 33 teams from all three NCAA divisions. Tallas posted a winning time of 21:26.7 over the 6K course and six seconds behind the overall winner from Bryant University. The Camels posted 173 points, the lowest score by any of the Division III programs, and finished fifth overall in the team standings.
