Every Monday during the season, one NESCAC Player of the Week will be selected based on information submitted by the athletic communications offices at member institutions.
NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week
Elliana Moreno – Wesleyan - Jr. – DS – Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Moreno led an inspired effort on defense this past weekend, leading Wesleyan to a pair of NESCAC wins over Colby and Bowdoin with an average of 5.29 digs per set for the weekend. Against the Mules, Moreno had 18 digs and a career-high 13 assists, helping lead a team effort that saw the Cardinals pile up a season-high 97 digs in a thrilling four-set win over previously unbeaten Colby. The junior followed up with 19 digs in a sweep of Bowdoin, averaging 6.33 digs per set for the match. Moreno extended her NESCAC-leading digs per set average to 4.72 through eight matches this season.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst - Senior OPP/OH
Charlotte Rasmussen (Los Angeles, CA) led the Mammoths with 21 kills last week in a 1-1 week that included a four-set victory over Bates in the 2025 conference opener. Rasmussen had 14 kills and a .323 hit percentage in the victory over the Bobcats.
Bates –
Jamie Barley-Cohen (South Salem, N.Y.) had a breakout weekend, tallying seven kills, two digs, and two blocks on Friday at Amherst. The rookie followed up with a career-high 19 kills and another block in a 3-1 win Saturday at Hamilton.
Bowdoin – First-year
Zoe Ryu (Washington, D.C.) had 11 kills and nine digs in a Saturday setback to Wesleyan.
Colby –
Kendall Glover (Conroe, Texas) tallied a career-high with 10 kills on Friday against Wesleyan and topped her own mark the following day with 11 kills as the Mules took out No. 12-ranked MIT. Glover’s presence at the net has increased throughout the season as the first-year tallied eight blocks against the Engineers. Glover hit .400 over 45 chances last weekend and has a .446 hitting percentage this season.
Connecticut College –
Grace Anderson (Pawling, N.Y.) recorded 24 kills and hit .339 over two games last week as the Camels opened NESCAC play. The sophomore supplied a career-high 12 kills against both Middlebury and Williams, and also contributed three block assists against the Ephs.
Hamilton -
Kathryn Fox (College Station, Texas) continued to enjoy her best season so far with the Continentals in two NESCAC matches last weekend. Fox posted eight kills, a .304 hitting percentage, five digs, and three blocks in a four-set loss against Tufts. The junior added eight kills, a .231 hitting percentage, three digs, and three blocks in Hamilton's four-set loss to Bates. The eight kills in a match were a season high for Fox.
Middlebury –
Gabby Pribisich (Cleveland, Ohio) was dominant in a 2-0 week for Middlebury. The middle hitter recorded 24 kills to just four errors for a team-high .400 hitting percentage. In a four-set win over Connecticut College, Pribisich tallied 11 kills, a .474 hitting percentage, and four blocks to push the Panthers' win streak over the Camels to nine. The junior followed up by tying her career-high with 13 successful attacks and four more blocks to propel Middlebury to its 14th consecutive victory against Trinity. Pribisich’s performances helped lead the squad to its third 2-0 start in NESCAC play in the last five seasons.
Trinity –
Ellie Gordon (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the Bantams’ attack during a 1-2 week. The senior tallied 35 kills with nine blocks and five digs. Gordon posted 15 kills with four blocks in a four-set victory over Western Connecticut, followed by a combined 20 kills and five blocks in battles with Middlebury and Williams.
Tufts – Right-side hitter
Emma Heckman (San Diego, Calif.) helped Tufts post a 2-0 NESCAC weekend, as the Jumbo set a personal best in kills twice last weekend. Heckman finished with 34 kills over eight sets of action (4.25 kps) while hitting .318, adding nine digs and six blocks. The junior posted 16 kills against Hamilton, a personal best to that point, in a 3-1 win on Friday. On Saturday at Amherst, Heckman reestablished her career high with 18 kills, hitting .375 in a 3-1 win. She added six total blocks with three in each match.
Williams – Sophomore
Chi Obi (Richmond Heights, Ohio) posted a career-high 13 kills on 30 attempts and hit .267 for the match, while helping the Ephs to a 3-2 win over Connecticut College on Saturday. Overall, the Ephs finished the weekend 2-0 in NESCAC.
