All 11 NESCAC Insitutions Ranked in 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup Final Standings

CLEVELAND - All 11 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) institutions have finished in the top 100 of the 2024-25 Learfield Directors’ Cup NCAA Division III standings. It marks the 25th consecutive season all 11 conference institutions have been ranked in the standings.
 
Emory totaled 1,198.75 points to claim the top spot in the standings that recognize the best NCAA Division III overall athletics programs in the country. Johns Hopkins finished second with 1,147 points and was followed by Tufts in third with 1,069 points, Washington University in St. Louis in fourth with 1,044.75 points, and Middlebury rounded out the top five institutions with 971.75.
 
Other NESCAC rankings included Amherst (7th - 933.25), Williams (11th - 853.50) and Wesleyan (19th - 667.00) finishing in the top 20. Colby was 33rd with 546.50 points and followed by Bowdoin (34th – 538.50), Bates (48th – 372.00), Hamilton (52nd – 346.50), Conn. College (63rd - 318.75), and Trinity (81st – 250.00).

In 2024-25, the NESCAC led all Division III conferences with six NCAA titles, and Trinity added two national titles in the non-NCAA-sponsored sports of women’s squash and men’s rowing. The eight total national championships match the most in conference history in a single season and are the most since 2014-15. Additionally, 11 individuals from the NESCAC won national titles in men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, and track & field.
