HADLEY, Mass. - The NESCAC announced the 2025 Men's Rowing Awards. The 10-member squads are comprised of individuals from the league's eight teams and are based on each team's finish at the NESCAC Championship held on May 11 at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
Trinity, the NESCAC Champion, placed four individuals on the All-NESCAC First Team. Alenka Doyle (coxswain), Wyatt Mills, Jackson Moore, and Quin Woods all received recognition.
Bates, the NESCAC Runners-Up, was represented by Sean Christiansen, Luke Desmaison, and George Fauver. Rounding our the All-NESCAC First Team selections were Peter Conard and Max Landers from Tufts and Noah Phipps from Williams.
Trinity head coach Kevin MacDermott was voted as the NESCAC Men's Rowing Coach of the Year by his peers. MacDermott, who is in his 16th season directing the Bantams, garners the honor for the second time, winning the award in 2013. MacDermott led Trinity to its first NESCAC Men's Rowing Championship since 2008. The Bantams also earned a berth to the IRA Division III National Championship set for Cooper River in Camden, N.J. from May 30-31.
