HADLEY, Mass. – The 2025 NESCAC Women’s Golf Awards, as voted on by the league’s coaches, were announced on Tuesday. Williams’ Euna Lee was named the NESCAC Golfer of the Year and Bowdoin’s Emily Renoff was selected as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year. Middlebury head coach Tim Walko was voted as the NESCAC Coach of the Year by his peers.
Lee was the medalist at the 2025 NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship. In the event’s inaugural year of a 54-hole tournament, Lee posted a three-round total of 225 (71-76-78) to win the tournament by one stroke. Lee posted five top 10 finishes in the eight tournaments and enters the NCAA Championship with a 74.0 scoring average. The Ephs were an at-large selection to the 2025 tournament field. Lee is the seventh Eph golfer to earn the NESCAC Player of the Year honor since the 2015-16 season.
Renoff finished fourth at the 2025 NESCAC Championship with a three-day total of 228 (74-75-49). The newcomer won two events this year and finished in the top 10 in six of eight tournaments this season. At the Williams Invitational in September, Renoff set Bowdoin single-round (68) and 36-hole (139) scoring records. Renoff was an individual qualifier for the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship, marking the first time a Bowdoin golfer has qualified for the event. Renoff is the first Bowdoin golfer to be selected as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year.
Walko, who is in his third season at the helm of the Panthers, is the NESCAC Coach of the Year for the first time in his career. He led Middlebury to its first NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship in 2025. The Panthers, who earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship by virtue of winning the title, used a come-from-behind effort to win their first conference title. Middlebury was in third place heading into the final round and finished five strokes better than the field.
