NESCAC Player of the Week
Ernie Little – Wesleyan – Jr. – 2B – Melrose, Mass.
Little posted an eight-game hit streak through the first eight games of the 2025 season. The junior leads the team with a .533 average to go along with 15 stolen bases, 13 runs scored, two doubles, two triples, and one home run. Little crossed the 100-career hit threshold last week and became the program's all-time stolen base record holder. He had five multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5 effort with a triple and three runs scored against Gustavus Adolphus. 
 
NESCAC Pitcher of the Week
E.J. Nevills – Amherst – So. – P – Westwood, Mass.
Nevills pitched four scoreless innings of relief in a 13-6 win over No. 2/5 Endicott. The sophomore allowed one hit, walked two batters, and struck out six hitters to pick up the win. 
  
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – In a 1-1 week for the Mammoths, Ryan McIntyre (Larchmont, N.Y.) went 5-for-9 with a double, a home run, four RBI, and three runs scored.

Bates – Gibby Sullivan (Yarmouth, Maine) drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to briefly give Bates a 1-0 lead over No. 5 Endicott on Wednesday. The junior went 1-for-3 with a walk against Plymouth State on Thursday. Sullivan leads the Bobcats with a 1.024 OPS through seven games … Kenny Carlisle (South Portland, Maine) shined in his first collegiate start, tossing six shutout innings Thursday against Plymouth State on the new Leahey Field turf. The sophomore struck out five batters and allowed four hits in a tough-luck no-decision, as Bates lost 1-0 in 10 innings. Carlisle has yet to allow a run in 7.2 innings pitched this season.

Bowdoin – During Bowdoin's first week of spring break, Will Bordes (Groton, Mass.) appeared in seven games and batted .435 for the Polar Bears with two doubles and two home runs. The junior tallied 15 RBI and scored nine runs to help Bowdoin post its best start in recent history at 9-0 … Alastair Rose (Needham, Mass.) carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning of the Polar Bears 4-3 win over Penn State Altoona on Friday. The first-year struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings of work and allowed just a single walk, three hits, and one earned run to pick up his first win of the season.
 
Colby – Clint Flippo (Bellevue, Wash.) led Colby to a 4-0 weekend as the Mules swept Brandeis and New England College. The senior went 9-for-17 at the plate, collecting five RBI and three doubles while scoring four runs, including the game-winner in Saturday's 10-inning opener. Flippo has six multi-hit games so far this season and is batting .537 to start the year … Thomas Rioux (Derry, N.H.) picked up his second win of the year after throwing six shutout innings against Brandeis Saturday.  The junior allowed only one hit while striking out four, inducing 11 ground outs and two fly outs, all while hurling only 65 pitches. 
 
Hamilton – Taylor Kaufman (Burlingame, Calif.) hit .545 (6-for-11) with a .643 on-base percentage and 1.273 slugging percentage in a 2-1 weekend for the Continentals. Kaufman's three-run homer in the top of the eighth gave Hamilton the lead for good at 4-1, and the Continentals went on to an 8-1 win against Springfield. Kaufman finished 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, and a stolen base. In a 6-5 victory in the nightcap against the Pride, Kaufman hit a two-run triple, doubled, scored two runs, and stole a base. The junior outfielder doubled twice, scored two runs, stole two bases, walked, and drove in a run in a 14-9 setback against the University of Saint Joseph … Henry Tyler (Abington, Pa.) pitched scoreless seventh and eighth innings and picked up the win in the Continentals' 8-1 victory in Game 1 against Springfield. Tyler struck out one and walked one. The senior set down the side in order in a scoreless fifth inning in a 14-9 setback against the University of Saint Joseph.

Middlebury – Senior Kyle McCausland (Wellesley, Mass.) led Middlebury in hitting .583 with team-highs in hits (7) and runs (4) while blasting a pair of doubles, one triple, and a homer over three games last week. McCausland moved into third on Middlebury’s all-time hits list with 164 … Senior Charlie Kutz (Dalton, Pa.) earned his first career save in a 5-4 victory at No. 22 California Lutheran on Sunday. With runners on first and second in the bottom of the ninth, Kutz struck out consecutive batters and induced a pop-up to end the inning and secure the win for Middlebury.

Trinity – Junior Dylan Schnitzer (Huntington, N.Y.) helped pace the Bantams at the dish in a 2-2 week for Trinity, featuring victories over Springfield College and Worcester State, batting .352 with eight runs batted in and three runs scored. Schnitzer drove in a pair of runs and scored once in a 14-8 victory over Springfield and erupted with a 4-for-5 performance against Worcester State, matching a career-high with six RBI behind a sixth-inning grand slam and two runs scored.

Tufts – Max Pavlik (Clarendon Hills, Ill.) paced the Jumbos last week with 10 RBI in five games of action. He homered twice against No. 10 Pomona and had six hits while scoring three times. The sophomore’s bat added a power threat that the Jumbos needed as they faced off against several tough teams … Silas Reed (Brookline, Mass.) earned a complete game win after pitching seven innings of the doubleheader opener at Pomona on Saturday. The graduate student limited the No. 10 ranked Sagehens to four hits, two runs, and a walk. Reed struck out 10 batters to set a season-high for any Jumbos pitcher and helped the Jumbos to a 6-2 win in the series opener in California.

Williams – Henry Juan (Big Flats, N.Y.) hit the game-tying, three-run homer with two outs in the bottom half of the ninth in a 6-5 win in 10 innings for the Ephs over Norwich on Saturday afternoon. The senior also went 2-of-5 in the batter's box, with one double and one run scored, at Brandeis on Sunday … Luca Lopetrone (Massapequa, N.Y.) earned the win, pitching the final two innings in the extra-inning victory over Norwich on Saturday. The junior did not allow a walk and gave up one hit while striking out one. In the top of the 10th, Lopetrone did not allow Norwich to score after the leadoff hitter reached third base with no outs.
