Why did you choose to be a Division III student-athlete?
I chose to be a Division III student-athlete to continue my passion for playing hockey, while also being able to balance it with strong academics. Playing college hockey has always been something I’ve wanted to achieve, and playing at the DIII level where there’s a much stronger emphasis on the players themselves was important for me. It was also a way for me to be part of a team culture and meet an amazing group of people who I’m fortunate to call some of my best friends.

You have a blank canvas, paint your perfect day. What does it look like?
I start my perfect day off by walking my two dogs and having breakfast either with my family or friends. Ideally, it's a Saturday game day so the rest of my morning and afternoon consists of getting ready for the game. If it’s not game day, I might either pickleball with my brother or go to the gym during the early afternoon. I would then fuel up with lunch and take a nap shortly afterwards. For dinner, I’d go get sushi either with my friends or family and spend the rest of the evening hanging out with my friends.

Looking back on your college years, what are you most proud of?

What has been your favorite class?
My favorite class at Williams was called Data Science in Economic Analysis because it was the first time I was able to see a clear connection between the material we were learning in lecture to some of the consulting tasks in the real world. Dr. Bhagya (Dr. B) has by far been my favorite Williams professor because he structures his classes in a way to truly have his students succeed and enjoy the learning process. What internships/research projects have you participated in?
This past summer, I interned on the Capital Markets & Advisory Corporate Finance team at ING, where I helped advise many of the buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates. It was both challenging and rewarding to contribute to many of the company profiles and valuations I took part of but I really enjoyed the team I worked with. From this experience, I learned a lot about the inner-workings of banking and the extent to which attention to detail really matters.
