NESCAC Player of the Week
Sarah Myziuk – Hamilton - So. - F – Macomb, Mich.
Myziuk recorded a hat trick and added an assist in a 6-2 win against SUNY Morrisville in the lone game of the week for the Continentals. The hat trick was the first of Myziuk's career, and it was the first four-point game for a Hamilton player since Feb. 11, 2022. The sophomore's first two goals of the game tied the score at 1-1 and 2-2, and her third marker of the afternoon put the Continentals ahead 3-2 for good midway through the second period.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Maeve Reynolds (Plymouth, N.H.) had two goals and one assist in a 4-1 win over Worcester State, the only game of the week for the Mammoths. The senior assisted on the game-winner mid-way through the first period, then added a goal in the final period to help Amherst improve to 3-0-2.
Bowdoin – Junior
Bella Mele (Jenkintown, Pa.) helped lead the Polar Bears to the 2025 Codfish Bowl title at UMass Boston with a pair of wins last weekend. Mele had two assists in Saturday's win over William Smith before scoring the game-winning goal in the championship game victory over Manhattanville, 4-1.
Colby – Junior
Molly Lefebvre (Grafton, Mass.) tallied the game-winner in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Southern Maine. Breaking up a mid-ice pass midway through the third, Lefebvre took it the rest of the way for her first tally of the year, unassisted.
Conn. College - Senior forward
Serena Seiple (Wilmette, Ill.) led Conn. College to a 1-0-1 week against Arcadia, with one goal, one assist, and 32 face-off wins. On Saturday night, Seiple netted the eventual game-winner in the second period, before adding an assist on the insurance marker in the third, while winning a season-best 17 face-offs, in a 3-1 win. Seiple followed that up by winning another 15 face-offs, while adding one blocked shot in a 1-1 tie.
Middlebury –
Caroline Thomas (Gates Mills, Ohio) continued her stellar rookie campaign. The forward opened the weekend with an assist in the opening game of the Panther/Cardinal Classic against Endicott. Thomas followed with her first hat trick for the Panthers in a 6-1 win over Plattsburgh State in the consolation game. The rookie became the first player since 2022 to record three or more goals in a contest and propelled the squad to its largest win over the Cardinals in 23 years. Thomas leads Middlebury with five goals and is third in the conference with nine points.
Wesleyan – Junior
Sami Smith (Boston, Mass.) posted 50 saves, setting a career-high, as the Cardinals overcame a 2-0 deficit in the second period to manage a 2-2 tie against Williams on Saturday. Smith also made two saves in the shootout following the overtime period, which the Cardinals won 2-0. Smith made 21 saves in the third period alone.
Williams –
Becca White (Orono, Maine) recorded at least one point in all three games last week for the Ephs. The rookie scored her first collegiate goal in a 3-1 victory at Western New England, then tallied an assist in a 4-1 triumph at Keene State, and contributed with an assist in a 2-2 tie at Wesleyan.
