NESCAC Player of the Week
Erin Pye - Williams – Sr. - G – Third Lake, Ill.
Pye stopped 88-of-90 shots for a .978 save percentage in two games against No. 2-ranked Amherst. On Friday, in a 1-1 tie, Pye made 51 saves, 30 of which came in the third period and overtime as the Ephs were outshot 22-4 in the third and 8-1 in extra period. Pye added 37 stops in a 1-0 setback on Saturday.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Natalie Stott (Franklin, Mass.) made 61 saves on 62 shots in a 1-0-1 week for Amherst. The Mammoths recorded a shootout win and a regulation win over rival Williams to start the season. In a 1-0 win over Williams on Saturday, Stott stopped all 33 shots she faced to record her 35th career shutout. The senior made 14 saves in the third period as Williams outshot Amherst 14-7 to preserve the 1-0 victory. Stott made 28 saves in a 1-1 tie (shootout win) and stopped one shot in overtime and all three shots faced in the shootout.
Bowdoin –
Meghan Britt (Arlington, Mass.) scored a goal in both games as the Polar Bears earned a weekend sweep at Wesleyan to start the season. Britt assisted on a goal and scored shorthanded to spark a four-goal second period on Friday in a 5-1 win. On Saturday, the sophomore scored the game's first goal, the eventual game-winner, in a 2-0 victory.
Colby – The Mules were idle last week and open the 2025-26 season with a home-and-home set versus Bowdoin on November 21 and 22.
Conn. College - Senior forward
Serena Seiple (Wilmette, Ill.) led Conn. College with five points in a weekend sweep of Trinity to open the year. On Friday night, Seiple chipped in one goal while winning 12 face-offs as the Camels won, 4-3. On Saturday night, Seiple recorded a career-high four points on two goals and two assists, while notching the game-winning goal in a 6-0 win.
Hamilton –
Grace Long (Milton, Mass.) scored the first goal of the junior's career in a 2-2 tie at Middlebury on Saturday. Classmate
Teagan Brown (Northville, Mich.) posted a 1.92 goals against average and .933 save percentage as the junior made 56 saves on 60 shots on goal in two games at Middlebury.
Middlebury –
Avery McInerny (Westford, Mass.) paced the Panthers to a 1-0-1 record in their opening weekend versus Hamilton. The forward was the hero for Middlebury in Friday’s contest against the Continentals, tallying the game-winning goal with 3.5 seconds remaining to secure a 2-1 victory. The goal was the senior’s sixth game-winner of her career. McInerny closed the conference doubleheader with the primary assist on Middlebury’s second tally that preserved a 2-2 tie.
Trinity – Trailing 3-1 against Conn College, sophomore
Caroline Holm (Cheshire, Conn.) netted a pair of third-period goals to even the contest at 3-3 before the Camels found the game-winner with less than three minutes to play.
