Why did you choose to attend Colby?
I chose Colby College because I wanted a place where I could grow academically and athletically. Colby has a strong small-knit community and the balance between the academics and sports made it feel like the perfect fit.
You have a blank canvas, paint your perfect day. What does it look like?
A perfect day starts with a slow morning yoga, enjoying my warm cup of matcha, spending time with my family, going for an evening walk to catch the sunset and ending the night by watching a movie.
Looking back on your college years, what are you most proud of?
How much I’ve grown as a person. The past three years have been one the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. I’m proud of the resilience I’ve built and the efforts I’ve put into everything I did. It’s something I genuinely value and am very proud of.

What is something you enjoy doing that you never get tired of?
I love playing the violin. It’s the one thing I absolutely love outside of sports. It allows me to get to a space where I can express myself and reconnect with something that has always brought me joy.
What has been your favorite class?
Data Analysis and Visualization. The concepts were very interesting and I liked how it connected theory to real-world applications. The professor that taught the class was super easy-going and friendly which made the class really fun.
Who is your favorite professor?
Professor Daniel LaFave. He’s amazing! I’m currently taking my Econometrics class with him. A fantastic and entertaining teacher.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete
Discipline and consistency. It has taught me to show up every single day even when it gets tough. Small progress is still progress, this is when discipline and staying consistent is key because that’s what truly builds growth.
What is your favorite place on your campus?
The Athletic Center for sure! We have one of the best facilities and it’s incredible.
What is something you enjoy doing when not in class or competing in your sport?
Going for a slow walk and listening to my favorite podcast.
