Middlebury's Molly Harrison Named CSC Academic All-America Honoree in Volleyball

Middlebury volleyball player Molly Harrison was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team. She becomes the first volleyball player in Panther history to earn the award. Harrison is seventh volleyball player from the NESCAC to earn CSC Academic All-America honors and the 383rd all-time in the conference.

In 2024, Harrison joined Hall of Famer Leslie Edwards (2000) and Jane Handel (2010) as the third Panther to be named NESCAC Player of the Year. The right outside hitter earned her second consecutive All-NESCAC First Team honor. Harrison received recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), becoming the program's third All-American honoree alongside her second straight all-region first-team selection.

The sophomore and helped the Panthers capture the NESCAC title for the sixth time in program history and first time since 2016. She led the NESCAC in kills (482) and kills per set (3.82). Both of those metrics are second-most in program history for a single season. Harrison put together 48 kills, 59 digs, nine blocks and four service aces over a three-game span in Middlebury's NESCAC Championship run. The Panther tallied 20 double-doubles (kills + digs) this season, with her 23-kill, 15-dig outing against Gettysburg pushing Middlebury to the first Regional Final appearance since 2011.
