Bowdoin Wins Fourth NESCAC Championship With 5-3 Victory Over Tufts

AMHERST, Mass. - Reid Staples delivered a straight-set win at number two singles, capping a dramatic run to the 2024 NESCAC Championship for the Bowdoin College men's tennis team on Sunday as the Polar Bears defeated Tufts 5-3 for the conference crown. Bowdoin ranked sixth in the latest ITA Division III poll, receives the NESCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Polar Bears will learn their NCAA Tournament status on Monday at 12:30 p.m. when the Division III Men's Tennis Selection Show is broadcast at NCAA.com.
