INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced that
Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. has been selected to host the 2028 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship.
Taconic is the home course of the Williams College Men's and Women's Golf programs and is annually ranked among the top college golf courses in the country. Originally designed in 1927 by Wayne Stiles of Stiles & Van Kleek, the par-71 course was renovated in 2009 by renowned golf course architect Gil Hanse of Hanse Golf Course Design, Inc.,
Taconic and Williams last hosted an NCAA Golf Championship in 1999 when the NCAA DIII NCAA Men's Championship was played at the course. The selection of Taconic to host the 2028 NCAA event marks the first time since 2002 (Mount Holyoke - The Orchards) that the NCAA Women's Golf Championship will be played in New England.
