NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Nicola Sommers – Tufts – Gr. – F – Branford, Conn.
Sommers had a huge hand in both Jumbo wins last week. First was a game-tying goal at Amherst, which came midway through the second half. Sommers' score helped the Jumbos come from behind to win 2-1. On Senior Day, Sommers scored in the 11th minute with a strike from outside the penalty area that opened the scoring in a win over the then-undefeated Middlebury Panthers. Sommers’ second goal against the Panthers provided Tufts with a two-goal cushion in an eventual 3-0 victory.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Sophomore
Jessica Lomo (Accra, Ghana) scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 6-0 win over Sarah Lawrence Sunday that concluded a 1-1-1 week for the Mammoths.
Bates – Senior
Ruby Reimann (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) matched her career-high with eight saves and picked up the shutout in a 1-0 win on Saturday at Connecticut College. It was Reimann's third shutout of the season. The victory kept the Bobcats in the playoff hunt, as they are tied with the Camels for the final NESCAC tournament spot with six points on the season.
Bowdoin - Rookie
Kayley Huleatt (Rifton, N.Y.) scored Bowdoin's goal in a 1-1 draw against Maine Maritime and led the Polar Bears in shots, with five including four on net, in a 1-0 setback to Wesleyan.
Colby – Sophomore
Elo Luczkow (Sherborn, Mass.) tallied her third goal of the season midway through the second half against Trinity to knot the game at 1-1 in an eventual tie to help the Mules earn a valuable conference point. The draw puts Colby in prime position to return to the NESCAC playoffs for the first time since 2018 and extends the Mules' unbeaten streak to five games.
Connecticut College - Goalkeeper
Ella Kahrl (Wellesley, Mass.) played the full 90 minutes in the Camels' only game of the week against Bates on Saturday. The senior recorded three saves against the Bobcats.
Hamilton –
Sarah Flood (Toronto, Ontario) scored the tying goal in the 89th minute of the Continentals' 2-2 draw with Amherst. Flood added an assist – the first of the sophomore's career – in an 8-1 win against Mount Saint Mary.
Tufts –

Wesleyan – Junior
Molly Brumbach (Montclair, N.J.) recorded her fifth consecutive shutout and eighth this season as the Cardinals defeated Bowdoin, 1-0, on the road on Saturday to remain in first place in the league standings. Brumbach made six saves against the Polar Bears which tied her second-highest single-game total of the season. Wesleyan is off to the best start to a season in team history at 10-0-2 and the 12-game unbeaten streak is the second-longest in program history.
Williams – Junior
Brianna Wright (Norristown, Pa.) scored a hat trick in a 10-0 victory over Castleton on Senior Day on Sunday.
