CLEVELAND, Ohio – All 11 NESCAC institutions are ranked in the top 90 schools of the final Learfield Directors' Cup Division III Winter Standings.

Tufts (632.00 pts) and Middlebury (621.50 pts) rank second and third, respectively behind Johns Hopkins (855.50 pts). Williams is also in the top 10, sitting in eighth with 511.00 points.
Amherst (376.50 pts) stands 27th while Bates (304.50 pts) and Bowdoin (300.00) rank 35th and 37th, respectively. Colby (245.00 pts) and Wesleyan (237.00 pts) are in the top 50 with Connecticut College (221.50 pts) in 51st place. Hamilton (150.50 pts – 71st) and Trinity (128.50 pts – 86th) round out the NESCAC institutions.
NESCAC institutions enjoyed a successful winter season with eight teams earning NCAA Tournament bids in men’s basketball (2), women’s basketball (3), men’s ice hockey (1), and women’s ice hockey (2). Additionally, 104 NESCAC student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
The winter was highlighted by Middlebury winning the NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey National Championship with an undefeated mark of 27-0-0. Four student-athletes won individual national championships at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships and Amherst reached the NCAA Women’s Basketball Division III Final Four.
The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
