NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Caroline Messer – Middlebury – Sr. – D – Greenwich, Conn.
In the final NESCAC Player of the Week selection of the 2026 season, Messer was a factor for both opposing offenses to help lead the Panthers to their 13th NESCAC title. The defender logged four ground balls, caused three turnovers, and secured three draw controls in Middlebury's 13-8 victory over Trinity in the conference semifinals. Messer continued her role in the NESCAC Championship Game against Wesleyan, forcing three turnovers alongside three draws and two rollers to lead the team to a 7-5 triumph. The senior leads the team with 39 caused turnovers and 51 ground balls.
