CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The 2025-26 NESCAC Men's Tennis season came to an end on Monday, May 25 in the semifinal round of the NCAA Singles Tournament in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Amherst junior Andreas Sillaste saw his NCAA individual run end in the semifinals, falling to Swarthmore's Michael Melnikov 6-2, 6-2. Melnikov, the No. 2-ranked player in the country, dispatched Sillaste, the No. 11-ranked player, in a match that lasted 1:10. Sillaste's journey to the semifinals started with overcoming a first-set loss in a 0-6, 6-1, 6-4 win over Emory's Ruilin Feng, then he posted a straight-sets win over Theo Billson of Wisconsin-Whitewater 6-2, 6-3 in the Round of 16 match. In the quarterfinals, the field had to navigate weather delays that stretched matches out over five hours, but Sillaste persisted to earn a three-set win over Alex Feies of Carnegie Mellon 7-5, 3-6, 6-4

Bowdoin senior Mark Kneiss concluded his collegiate career with a 6-4, 6-2 loss to top-ranked Advik Mareedu of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the semifinal round. Kneiss, the NESCAC Player of the Year and ranked No. 3 in Division III, reached the semifinals with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Allen Gong of Johns Hopkins in the opening round and a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Gage Gohl of Gustavus Adolphus pushed Kneiss to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinal match that lasted just over five hours due to weather delays, Kneiss came back from a first-set deficit to defeat UChicago's Alexander Ekstrand, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2.
