In the final weekly honors of the 2026 NESCAC Outdoor Track & Field season, the following athletes have been selected as the NESCAC Track & Field Athletes of the Week. The 2026 NESCAC Track & Field Championships are set to take place on April 25 and 26 at Lee Track on the campus of Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Keiyu Mamiya – Williams – So. – Shoreline, Wash.
At the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT, Mamiya was the top Division III athlete in the 1500-meter race, finishing fourth with a time of 3:48.85. The time stands 11th among Division III athletes.
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Alex MacDonald – Amherst – Jr. – Sewickley, Pa.
McDonald posted a throw of 45.84 meters (150-5) to finish second in the discus at the Sean Collier Invitational. McDonald’s mark ranks 10th in the New England Region.
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Arielle Chechile – Tufts – So. – Palmer, Mass.
Chechile established a new Tufts record with a time of 54.30 (third in Division III) to finish 12th overall and second among Division III athletes in the 400-meter race at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific University. Chechile also registered a time of 24.42 seconds in her first-ever outdoor 200-meter race. The time stands second all-time at Tufts. The sophomore also ran what currently ranks as the top Division III time in the country for the 400-meter hurdles (59.05) at the Pacific Coast Invitational hosted by Long Beach State.
Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Ceci LaBarge – Tufts – Sr. – Dennis, Mass.
At the Leopard Invitational hosted by La Verne, LaBarge recorded a throw of 51.41 meters (168-8) to finish fifth overall and lead all Division III athletes in the hammer throw. The senior’s mark stands 22nd in Division III. LaBarge also posted a mark of 10.35 meters (33-11.5) for an outdoor personal best in the shot put at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
