NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Izzy Weintraub – Wesleyan – Sr. – G – Oceanside, N.Y.
Weintraub matched her career-high with 12 saves while allowing just three goals for a .800 save percentage as the Cardinals defeated Williams 11-3 to secure the 2026 Little Three Championship. Weintraub and the Cardinal defense held Williams scoreless for two full quarters and 43+ consecutive minutes, making seven straight saves in the process. Wesleyan held Williams to its lowest goal total of the season and in the 51 all-time meetings in the series. Weintraub added two ground balls and has a .500 save percentage in four of the last five games.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior
Bridget Finley (Bronxville, N.Y.) scored six goals last week, a 1-1 campaign for the Mammoths, who defeated Westfield State and fell to Middlebury. Finley scored three goals in a 13-7 loss to the Panthers after scoring three goals in a win over the Owls.
Bates – Caroline Keating (Rye, N.Y.) paced the Bobcats with five points on Wednesday against Colby. The senior tallied two goals and three assists while recording two ground balls and securing five draw controls. Keating has recorded career-highs in goals (30), assists (8), ground balls (38), and draw controls (60) for the Bobcats.
Bowdoin –
Grace Harvey (North Ferrisburg, Vt.) helped Bowdoin extend its win streak to three games with a pair of wins last week. Harvey dominated possession, winning 10 draws against Babson and 13 against Conn. College on Saturday while also scoring a goal in both games. The junior also had four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the one-goal win against Babson. Harvey leads the conference with 95 draw controls this season, 16 more than any other player in the conference.
Colby – Sophomore
Charlotte Michener (Fairfield, Conn.) led Colby to wins over Bates and Roger Williams. Against the Bobcats, the sophomore tallied four goals in a 14-10 win, and against the Hawks, she netted three goals and an assist in the first half as Colby jumped out to a 12-2 lead at the break. Michener leads the Mules with 23 goals.
Conn. College – Senior attack
Campbell Johnston (Duxbury, Mass.) led Conn. College to a 1-1 week, recording 12 total points, along with one ground ball, one draw control, and one caused turnover. On Wednesday at Montclair St., Johnston powered the Camels to a 15-12 win, matching her career-high with seven goals, while adding one assist, one caused turnover, one draw control, and one ground ball. On Saturday at Bowdoin, Johnston added four points on three goals and one assist, surpassing 100 career goals in the process.
Hamilton –
Eliza Schwarz (New York, N.Y.) posted a .473 save percentage on the road against two of the top three teams in the NPI. Schwarz made 10 saves in 45 minutes of a 17-3 setback at Middlebury. The junior stopped a career-high 16 shots and added a ground ball and a caused turnover in a 15-6 loss at Tufts. Schwarz leads the NESCAC with 10.14 saves per game.
Middlebury –
Caroline Adams (Norwich, Vt.) logged 10 points over two conference contests. The senior opened the slate with two goals and four draw control wins as the Panthers cruised to a 17-3 victory over Hamilton. Adams closed the week by tying her career high in points (4G, 4A) in a 13-7 win over No. 5 Amherst. The attacker leads the team and sits tied atop the conference with 45 goals and second in the conference with 70 points.
Trinity – Senior
Grace Denious (Darien, Conn.) led the Bantams’ attack in a 12-7 victory over Colby, recording a team-high four points with a team-high three goals and an assist, along with three ground balls and two draw controls.
Tufts – First-Year
Eleanor Helm (Loudonville, N.Y.) tallied eight points on five goals and three assists in a win over Hamilton. Late in the fourth quarter, Helm helped the Jumbos pull away for good, as she scored three of the final four goals while assisting on the other tally as Tufts notched a 15-6 victory.
Williams – Senior attack
Katy McCullough (Hingham, Mass.) scored a pair of goals Saturday at No. 3 Wesleyan.
