In a game played at Montclair State, Zevi Samet scored 27 points and Max Zakheim converted two free throws with 0.2 seconds remaining to lift Yeshiva to a dramatic 71-69 victory over Bates. Zakheim, who finished with six points, was fouled on a rebound with the clock expiring after Babacar Pouye had tied the game at 69 on a layup with 18 seconds left. Zakheim converted both free throws to send the undefeated Skyline Conference champions to the next round.

Samet drilled five 3-pointers and scored 23 of his 27 points before intermission as the Maccabees (22-8) built an 11-point halftime lead. Yair Dovrat added 13 points and five assists, and Yoav Oselka contributed 11 points for Yeshiva, which went 11 of 27 from beyond the arc on the day. Bates (18-10) mounted a spirited second-half rally behind Jamari Robinson, who finished with 19 points off the bench, all in the second half. Robinson's fast-break 3-pointer with 5:52 remaining gave Bates its first lead since the opening minutes, 61-60.

Sean O'Leary led Bates with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Brady Coyne added 12. Pouye chipped in eight points and nine rebounds. The Bobcats shot 43 percent for the game and went 6 of 21 from 3-point range.

Chin, who converted 10 of 12 free throws, scored 16 of his 20 points after halftime as the Mammoths (20-7) outscored the Engineers 36-22 in the second half to turn a three-point edge into a comfortable 17-point victory. K.J. Neville complemented Chin with 16 points, going 4 of 5 from the line and adding three assists, while Sherron Woodberry shot a perfect 3 of 3 from beyond the arc and finished with nine points. WPI (21-7) kept it competitive through the first half, trailing just 27-24 at the break, but the Engineers shot 22 percent in the second half and finished the game 2 of 23 from 3-point range. J.R. Newman led WPI with 11 points and a team-high five assists, and Nicholas Margetson matched him with 11 points on efficient 3-of-4 shooting.

Tufts def. Penn State Harrisburg, 65-60 | Box Score
Ricardo Nieves scored 14 points off the bench and Joshua Bernstein added 12 points and 11 rebounds as Tufts held off a furious Penn State Harrisburg rally to win 65-60 at Cousens Gym.

Tufts (22-5) built a 14-point lead midway through the second half before the Lions clawed back to within three points in the final minute, but the Jumbos made enough free throws down the stretch to secure the victory. Dylan Reilly provided the game-sealing basket, converting a layup with five seconds remaining off a Zion Watt assist for the final margin.

Watt finished with nine points and four blocks for Tufts, whose bench outscored Penn State Harrisburg's reserves 23-6. Jon Medley contributed nine points and five assists, and Sidney Wooten chipped in seven points with three steals for the Jumbos, who shot a blistering 59 percent in the second half after a sluggish 29 percent performance in the first.

Jordan Spencer delivered 16 points on three 3-pointers and converted several critical free throws in the final two minutes, helping the Lions trim what had been an 11-point deficit to three with under a minute to play.

Wesleyan def. Lehman, 76-66 | Box Score
Ben Lyttle recorded 20 points and 17 rebounds, and Zach Wolinski converted 11 of 13 free throws to finish with 17 points as Wesleyan held off a Lehman rally to win 76-66 at Silloway Gymnasium.

The Cardinals (23-6) needed every bit of Wolinski's clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch, as Lehman's Manny Barkor came off the bench to score 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting with seven free throws and nine rebounds, to keep the Lightning within striking distance throughout the second half. Ricardo Dixon added 11 points and five blocks for Lehman.

Lehman (21-8) pulled to within one point, 51-50, midway through the second half on Barkor's layup-and-free-throw sequence and later tied the game at 56 with 6:21 remaining. But Wesleyan responded with a decisive run, using free throws and timely baskets from Lyttle and Sam Pohlman to extend the lead. Pohlman finished with 11 points and went 7 of 7 from the charity stripe, and Oscar Edelman chipped in 11 points on three 3-pointers.

Trinity def. Keuka, 74-63 | Box Score

In its NCAA Tournament debut, Keuka (15-14) led the defending national champion, 29-23, at the break after a strong first-half performance from Lamar Lovelace, who finished with a game-high 25 points on 8-of-18 shooting. The Wolves led by nine with 9:18 left, but a driving layup by Vetter knotted the game at 45 at the 7:15 mark. The Wolves pulled back out to a four-point advantage with 6:28 remaining, but a Vetter three-point play tied the game again at 49, and a 3-pointer by David Ayles at the 4:47 mark shoved Trinity (26-2) in front 52-49 for good.

Vetter was efficient down the stretch, going 7-of-7 from the free-throw line in the final minutes. Ayles added 10 points and dished out six assists, while Jared Berry contributed 11 points off the bench. Tristan Davis pulled down nine rebounds.
