NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Caroline Adams – Middlebury – Sr. – A – Norwich, Vt.
Adams was a catalyst in three road victories versus ranked opponents. The senior opened the slate with six goals, one assist, and nine draw controls in a 13-6 victory over No. 20 University of Chicago and became the first player in program history to surpass 400 career draw wins. Adams kept her hat trick streak going, tallying five points (3G, 2A) in an 11-10 triumph at No. 3 Tufts. Her player-up goal with 1:02 remaining in the third quarter gave Middlebury a lead they never relinquished, and she assisted on two of the final three tallies to seal the win. The attack closed the week by scoring four times and adding three helpers to guide Middlebury to an 18-3 victory against No. 24 Babson. Adams leads the conference with 6.40 draw wins per game and is second in goals (33) and points per game (5.20).
