NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Schuyler Lloyd – Tufts – Jr. – M – Wenham, Mass.
Lloyd netted five goals in a season-opening win over No. 3 Colby. Lloyd scored on every shot she took on Saturday, including netting her only free position attempt. The midfielder also added a caused turnover and added a draw control to her ledger, while finishing with zero turnovers.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Mia Raven (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored three goals and added two assists in a 12-9 win at Hamilton. Raven scored twice in the third quarter on back-to-back goals that extended a 7-6 Amherst lead to 9-6. She added four draw controls and one groundball in the season-opening victory.

Bates – Virginia Avery (Morganville, N.J.) came off the bench to play goalie for the final 45 minutes on Saturday against No. 5 nationally ranked Wesleyan. The rookie tallied seven saves and notched a save percentage of .500 against the Cardinals. Avery also picked up a game-high seven ground balls.

Bowdoin - Senior Miya Imaeda (Guilford, Conn.) scored three goals and had three assists in a Sunday win for the Polar Bears against Roger Williams.

Colby – Corinne Kapalka (Vienna, Va.) tallied a hat trick and added an assist in her collegiate debut. The rookie’s helper opened Saturday's scoring, and her first two scores came in the third quarter as the Mules worked to close a first-half gap against the visiting Jumbos. 

Conn. College - Senior attack Campbell Johnston (Duxbury, Mass.) led Conn. College to a 14-3 win over Eastern Connecticut to open the season. Johnston recorded a career-highs of nine points and seven goals, while adding three ground balls in the victory. The senior put the Camels in front for good with 10 minutes left in the first quarter, before ending the first half with three straight goals. Johnston added a goal and an assist in the third quarter, before closing out the contest with the Camels’ final two goals.

Hamilton – Junior Eliza Schwarz (New York, N.Y.) made a career-high 14 saves and scooped up three ground balls in a 12-9 setback against Amherst. Schwarz kept the Continentals close in the second half by stopping four shots in the third quarter and four more in the fourth.

MiddleburyHailey Hamilton (Hamilton, Mass.) powered the Panther offense with a career-high four goals to help the squad to an 11-6 victory over Bowdoin in their season opener. The result was also the first hat trick of the senior’s career and the 26th consecutive player in program history to have three or more goals in a season opener.

Trinity – Grace Denious (Darien, Conn.) powered the Bantams to an 11-8 win over Williams in the 2026 season opener, racking up four points with three goals and an assist, along with three draw controls and two groundballs. Denious potted the Bantams’ opening marker of the contest, followed by an unassisted tally later in the first period, and a game-sealing strike in the fourth to secure the victory.

WesleyanKyra Browne (East Atlantic Beach, N.Y.) made history on Saturday in the Cardinals' season opener, as the senior midfielder grabbed a single-game team record 11 draw controls while adding one assist in a 15-5 win over Bates in Maine. The 11 draw controls are the most by any NESCAC player this season and surpass the previous team record of 10, which had been accomplished twice prior to Browne's record-breaking performance. 

Williams – Senior attack Franny Donohue (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) scored three goals and tallied an assist against No. 20-ranked Trinity on Saturday.
