NESCAC Player of the Week
Ally Martineillo – Colby – So. – G – Salem, N.H.
Martineillo led Colby to a 2-0 shutout versus No. 2 Amherst on Friday night and a 1-1 tie on Saturday, stopping 86 of 87 shots faced. Martineillo posted a .989 save percentage and 0.48 goals against average for the week. On Friday, Martiniello saved all 39 shots she faced, including eight on Amherst's power-play advantage. On Saturday, the sophomore posted a career-high 47 saves, including six shots in overtime and all three shootout attempts, allowing the Mules to take the shootout, 1-0.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Maeve Reynolds (Plymouth, Mass.) scored the lone goal of the week for Amherst, a game-tying goal in a 1-1 tie with Colby on Saturday. The senior is second on the team with eight goals and leads the team in assists (15) and points (23) this season.
Conn. College - Senior goalie
Devon Galizio (Wayland, Mass.) led Conn. College to a crucial NESCAC victory on Friday night over No. 8 Willams. Galizio stopped all 28 shots faced for her first shutout of the season as the Camels defeated the Ephs, 3-0, to pick up three points in the standings.
Hamilton –
Sarah Myziuk (Macomb, Mich.) racked up five points in two wins against Bowdoin. Myziuk posted two goals and an assist in a 5-2 victory on Friday. The sophomore tied the score at 2-2 at 1:07 of the third period and put the Continentals in the lead for good just 19 seconds later. Myziuk added a goal and another helper in a 4-1 triumph on Saturday. The winger notched Hamilton's fourth goal with 7:56 left in the third period.
Middlebury – Goalie
Sophia Will (Lancaster, N.Y.) helped the Panthers to a 2-1-0 mark last week. The netminder stopped a career-high 42 shots in a 2-1 setback against No. 15 Plattsburgh. Will continued the three-game slate with 38 saves over two contests to secure the weekend sweep of Trinity. The Panther also surpassed 40 career wins and moved into second in career saves.
Wesleyan – Rookie
Parker Caldara (Scarsdale, N.Y.) produced a two-point night in the Cardinals' lone game last week, a 4-1 road win over Salve Regina. Caldara scored her team-leading seventh goal of the year, resulting in the game-winning tally, while she added one assist for her second multi-point game of the season.
Williams – Senior
Erin Pye (Third Lake, Ill.) improved to 11-2-3 and earned her fourth shutout of the season, stopping all 35 shots in a 4-0 win at Connecticut College on Saturday.
