The New England Hockey Writers Association named eight NESCAC players to its 2025-26 Division III Women's Ice Hockey All-Star Team.
The organization will host its annual awards brunch on Sunday, April 19, at the Prince Restaurant in Saugus, MA. The event will include not only the New England Writers’ honorees but will also serve to present the recipients of the Walter Brown Award and Joe Concannon Award, given by the Gridiron Club of New England, to the top American-born male hockey players in New England. In addition, the Eastern Massachusetts Ice Hockey Officials will present the J. Thom Lawler Award.
The 18 Women’s Division III All-Stars announced today come from 11 schools, with Amherst College and Norwich University leading the way with three honorees each. It is an experienced group with 11 seniors and three juniors. There is a local flavor as 10 of the All-Stars are New England natives.
Norwich University head coach Justin Simpson is this year’s New England Division III Women’s Coach of the Year. The New England Division III Women’s Most Valuable Player, for the second year in a row, is Natalie Stott, a senior goaltender from Amherst College and Franklin, MA.
