NESCAC Player of the Week
Madeline Carter – Trinity – Jr. – G – Oak Park, Ill.
Carter was vital to the Bantams securing a pair of ties in a home-and-home series versus No. 4 Amherst. The junior stopped 77 of 79 shots faced for a .975 save percentage during the home-and-home series. Carter is one of six goaltenders to hold the Mammoths to one goal or less during the season.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior
Natalie Stott (Franklin, Mass.) stopped 47 of 49 shots in two 1-1 ties versus Trinity. Stott stopped every shot she faced in overtime and all five shootout attempts.
Bowdoin – Senior
Elena DiMagno (Ann Arbor, Mich.) scored the game-winning goal in overtime on Saturday as the Polar Bears completed a sweep of Conn. College to secure a NESCAC postseason berth. DiMagno, who also assisted on a game-tying goal in the third period on Friday as Bowdoin posted a comeback win over the Camels, found the back of the net at 2:16 of the extra session.
Colby – Seniors
Jo Tattersall (Kendall Park, N.J.) and
Beth Sinson (Elm Grove, Wis.) each contributed during Colby's Senior Weekend contests. Tattersall intercepted a pass midway through the third period in Friday’s game against Wesleyan and tallied an unassisted goal that proved to be the game-winner. Sinson scored a goal in each contest and won 42 of 49 faceoffs she took.
Conn. College - First-year defender Sofia Polizzi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led Conn. College with two assists in a weekend series at Bowdoin. On Friday, Polizzi chipped in an assist on junior
Olivia Montembeault's (Glencoe, Ill.) opening goal, before setting up senior
Charlotte Harris (Ystrad Mynach, Wales) for the tying goal on Saturday.
Hamilton – Junior
Grace Puskar (Fairfield, Conn.) scored the game-tying goal midway through the third period in the Continentals' 1-1 tie at SUNY Cortland in their lone game of the week. Puskar has a goal in two straight games and a point in three consecutive games. Junior
Sarah Myziuk (Macomb, Mich.) picked up an assist on the goal. Myziuk is tied for the team lead with nine helpers and has six points in the last three games.
Middlebury – In a 1-0-1 home-and-home weekend versus No. 9 Williams,
Sophia Will (Lancaster, N.Y.) totaled 61 saves while allowing one goal (0.48 GAA) and a .984 save percentage. Will opened the two-game slate with 24 saves to help seal a 4-1 victory over the Ephs in Williamstown on Friday before stopping all 37 Eph shots on target in a 0-0 tie on Saturday for the senior’s first shutout of the year. Will moved into fourth all-time in single-season saves (444).
Wesleyan –
Parker Caldara (Scarsdale, N.Y.) scored twice in a 4-2 road win over Colby on Saturday, netting the game-winning goal in a span of four unanswered Wesleyan goals against the Mules. It was the first Wesleyan win over Colby in Waterville since 2017.
Williams – Senior goaltender
Erin Pye (Third Lake, Ill.) of the No. 9-ranked Williams College women's ice hockey team made a game-high 43 saves and earned her fifth shutout of the season in a 0-0 tie against No. 5 Middlebury on Saturday.
