NESCAC Player of the Week
Sofia Tavarez – Conn. College – Fy. – G – Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.
Tavarez came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points and added four rebounds, three assists, and a steal in a 55-38 win over Tufts. The Camels broke open a four-point game with a 15-0 run to start the fourth quarter, where the rookie scored or assisted eight points in the spurt to lead the Camels to their first win over the Jumbos since 2015 and their first win at Tufts since 1996. It also marked Tavarez’s fourth game of the season with 20 points or more.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
BatesElsa Daulerio (Harpswell, Maine) tallied 10 points and five rebounds on 4-for-7 shooting in just 15 minutes in a 90-48 win over the University of Maine at Farmington. The senior followed that up with a game-high 16 points on 7-for-10 shooting, six rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot in 21 minutes in an 83-45 win over Saint Joseph's (ME).

Bowdoin – Abbie Quinn (Bangor, Maine) scored 18 points with seven rebounds in a Saturday win at Colby as the Polar Bears remained unbeaten in NESCAC play. Quinn also scored 13 points with five boards in 17 minutes of a midweek win at Husson. For the week, the junior shot 61 percent from the field.

Colby – Kate Olenik (Medfield, Mass.), the NESCAC's leading scorer, hit a new season-high and averaged 28.0 points per game over two games for the Mules. The junior tallied 32 points when Colby topped Maine Maritime Academy for just the second time in the last eight tries, followed by 24 points in a narrow setback against No. 7 Bowdoin. Playing 76 of a possible 80 minutes, Olenik shot over 50 percent from the floor, over 50 percent from behind the arc, and hit eight of her nine free throws. The junior also collected 7.5 rebounds per contest and scooped up five steals. 

Hamilton – Senior Taylor Lambo (Watertown, Mass.) scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 61-56 setback against Amherst. Lambo has eight double-doubles in the Continentals' last nine games. Junior Abbey Schwoebel (Westport, N.Y.) dropped in 13 points off the bench and is averaging 13.3 in the last three contests.

Middlebury – Catherine Carrafiello (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) was a spark plug off the bench, tallying a key layup with 8:48 remaining that ignited a 9-2 run that gave the Panthers a lead it would never surrender in a 62-51 road victory over Williams. The junior logged a career best 14 points and six rebounds, with eight points in the second half. Carrafiello also recorded a career high seven made buckets in just eight attempts to seal Middlebury’s third consecutive win against the Ephs.

Trinity – Lucy Dorion (Needham, Mass.) powered the Bantams offense to a 65-45 win over Wesleyan with a career-high 18 points, shooting 6-of-12 from the field, including a career-best 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, with three assists, two rebounds, and two steals.

Tufts – First-year guard Tessa Lozner (Middletown, N.Y.) continued her solid first-year campaign, as she averaged 11.5 points per game in two contests, including 11 against No. 4 Smith in an upset victory. The rookie also tallied 12 points against Connecticut College. 

Williams – Against Middlebury, sophomore Micah Walton (Austin, Texas) scored a game-high 18 points, shooting 8-for-12 from the field, and tied a career high with five steals.
