NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Kayley Huleatt – Bowdoin – So. – Forward – Rifton, N.Y.
Huleatt played a cross, setting up sophomore
Sienna Masood's (Newton Center, Mass.) go-ahead goal with 14:43 remaining against Connecticut College on Saturday, and 1:25 later, the sophomore netted her team-leading third goal of the season, leading the Polar Bears to a 2-0 win over the Camels in the lone game of the week for Bowdoin.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – Senior
Lulu Fickes (Denver, Colo.) made five saves in a 1-0 loss to Williams last week, including two dynamic saves to keep the game a one-goal contest in the second half.
Bates –
Eleanor Martin (Oilville, Va.) scored a goal and dished out an assist in an 8-0 win over Thomas College on Wednesday. The sophomore followed up with a pair of goals in a 2-0 victory over UMass Boston on Saturday, giving Martin a team-leading seven points on the season.
Colby – Junior
Avery Barton (Bradford, Vt.) tallied two early assists in Colby's victory over the University of Southern Maine. The Mules wasted little time getting on the board as Barton's first helper came less than one minute into play, followed by her second 30 seconds later.
Connecticut College - Sophomore goalkeeper
Maia Kafer (Philadelphia, Pa.) continued her run in the Camels’ net, as Conn. College went 1-1-0 last week. On Wednesday night, Kafer recorded two saves and her first solo clean sheet in a 1-0 win at Coast Guard to retain the Whale Cup. Kafer followed up with a career-high eight saves as the Camels battled tough at Bowdoin.
Hamilton – Junior
Sarah Flood (Toronto, Ontario) scored in the 57th minute in the Continentals' 1-1 tie at Wesleyan. The goal was the fifth of Flood's Hamilton career. Rookie
Diana Baffor (Old Akrade, Ghana) posted the go-ahead goal in the 80th minute and added an assist less than 30 seconds later in a 3-1 win at SUNY Oswego. The three points were the first of the rookie’s collegiate career.
Middlebury – Senior
Livia Davidson (Tuxedo, N.Y.) set a new career-best with four saves against Trinity, helping the Panthers to a 0-0 tie against the Bantams and move Middlebury’s unbeaten streak to four matches. The goalkeeper also tallied her first clean sheet of the season and second of her career.
Trinity – Sophomore
Ava Correnti (West Newbury, Mass.) helped anchor a Trinity defensive unit that posted a pair of shutouts, including a 0-0 draw versus No. 13 Middlebury, to move the Bantams to 3-0-1 on the season. Correnti played all 90 minutes against the Panthers to deliver the first clean sheet against Middlebury this season.
Wesleyan –
Maria Utz (Atlanta, Ga.) netted her first career hat trick, becoming the first Cardinal to record a hat trick since October 2023, in a 3-0 victory at WPI last Wednesday. The junior forward needed just five shots to score all three Wesleyan goals in the win.
Williams – Senior captain
Ansley Burns (Scottsdale, Ariz.) recorded her first collegiate multi-goal game with two markers in a 4-0 victory over Skidmore on Sunday.
