A total of five NESCAC teams earned bids to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament, matching the most in conference history (last: 2010).
AMHERST
After a two-year absence, Amherst (19-7) is back in the NCAA Tournament. The Mammoths were awarded an at-large berth and will travel to nearby Smith College to take on Vassar College (21-6) on Friday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. inside the Pioneers' Ainsworth Gymnasium. The Mammoths, who reached the semifinals of the NESCAC Tournament, will be making their 14th NCAA Tournament appearance and first since the 2021-22 season when the three-time national champions reached the national semifinals. Vassar is coming off its second straight Liberty League Championship and is making its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance.

BATES
Bates (16-9) is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in the last four years after receiving an at-large bid for the second straight year. The Bobcats, who reached the “Sweet 16” round last year, head to Scranton, Pa. to take on Southern Virginia University (26-2) which won its second consecutive USA South Championship. The Knights are making their third trip to the NCAA Tournament in four seasons.

BOWDOIN
Bowdoin (27-0) claimed the NESCAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year after winning the title for the 11th time in program history. The Polar Bears, the overall No. 1 seed in the tournament, will host first and second-round games at Morrell Gymnasium and face Brooklyn College (17-11) in its first game of the tournament. Bowdoin is making its 22nd appearance in the NCAA Tournament and 21st since 2000. The Polar Bears enter the tournament as one of two undefeated teams in Division III (NYU is the other). Brooklyn makes its fifth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, having won the last five CUNYAC titles and six titles in the last seven seasons.

TRINITY
Trinity (18-8), another at-large selection out of the NESCAC, travels to NYU for first and second-round action. The Bantams face UMass-Dartmouth (23-4) which won the Little East title. The Corsairs are in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in team history while the Bantams, who reached the NESCAC Semifinals, are in the tournament for the fifth time in program history and third season in a row.

TUFTS
Tufts (15-10) is the fourth NESCAC team to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Jumbos travel to Gettysburg for the first and second rounds and will play Western New England (24-3) in the opening game. Tufts is returning to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year and the 15th time in program history. The Jumbos have reached the “Sweet 16 12 times since 2008. Western New England was an at-large selection out of the Conference of New England. The Golden Bears are in the tournament for the second year in a row and fourth time overall.
