NESCAC Player of the Week
Liam Horkan – Conn. College – Jr. – A – Malden, Mass.
Horkan entered the week without a point in 2025 and finished the week with 10 goals and one assist to lead the Camels to a 2-0 record. The Junior netted a career-high six goals and added an assist in a 13-9 road win over Colby. He scored the first goal of the game, then his second goal tied the contest at 5-5, and back-to-back unassisted tallies gave the Camels an 8-5 cushion. Earlier in the week, Horkan netted four goals as Conn. College picked up a 14-11 victory at Western Connecticut.
NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst –
Bennett Chow (Chicago, Ill.) was critical in the Mammoths' come-from-behind win on the road at Hamilton, scoring three goals and adding one assist in the victory. The junior's first goal came in the third quarter and tied the game, 6-6. Chow's second goal gave Amherst an 8-7 lead late in the third quarter and his final tally came in the fourth quarter and snapped an 8-8 tie in the 9-8 Amherst win.
Bates – Rookie
Xander Frey (Potomac, Md.) tallied a career-high three goals, including the game-winner in overtime, and dished out a career-high three assists, contributing to more than half the goals scored by Bates, in an 11-10 win at Williams in the only game of the week for the Bobcats.
Colby – Senior
Bennett Goller (Napa, Calif.) tallied seven goals and four assists across two games for Colby last week, including the overtime game-winner against previously unbeaten Endicott on Sunday. The senior scored four goals in a setback against Conn. College on Saturday and registered three goals against the Gulls to help the Mules erase a three-goal deficit late in the contest. Colby held Endicott scoreless after the halftime break.
Hamilton –
Frank Coyle (Peterborough, Ontario) posted nine points in a 1-1 week for the Continentals. Coyle tied a career high with four goals, established a career best with six points, and added two ground balls in a 19-5 win against Utica. The junior finished with two goals and an assist in a 9-8 setback against Amherst.
Middlebury –
Will Ford (Denver, Colo.) tallied five points in a pair of losses to top-10 nationally ranked programs last week. The sophomore scored a go-ahead marker in an 8-7 loss to No. 55 RPI, while scoring three times against No. 7 Bowdoin. Ford is tied for the team lead with six points (3G, 3A).
Trinity – Senior
Jon Krikorian (Boston, Mass.) paced the Bantams in scoring in a 27-9 loss at Tufts, registering a team-high four points with a team-high three goals and an assist.
Tufts - Junior attack
Jack Regnery (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) tied two Tufts records in a win over Trinity, as he finished with nine goals and three assists for 12 points in the 27-9 win over the Bantams. The nine goals tied the program record for goals in a game with Dave Perry (Regis (CO), 3/16/96), while the 12 points also tied the school record, which had been done three times previously. Regnery leads the NESCAC in goals with 15, and his 7.50 goals per game are more than double the next closest player.
Williams – Senior
Jesse Shapiro (Glencoe, Ill.) scored back-to-back hat tricks against Union and Bates last week for a total of six goals.
