Colby College hosted Stephanie Johnson, Associate AD and SWA at Susquehanna University, as a facilitator for the NCAA Inclusive Leaders Program.
 
Coaches and staff learned strategies and discussed best practices to further their recruitment and retention efforts of students of color. The program allowed for engaging discussion and created a safe space to ask questions and gain understanding.
 
Johnson used her direct experiences as an administrator and coach to give first-hand examples. She engaged with compassion and even added her own flair of humor to keep the conversations relaxed yet educational. Staff continued the conversations long after the program with follow-ups happening in offices and throughout the building.
