NESCAC Player of the Week
Grace Kinum – Bowdoin – So. – G – New Providence, N.J.
In wins over Bates and Colby, Kinum stuffed the stat sheet, averaging 17.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks. In a double-overtime win at Bates, the guard scored a career high 26 points with 10 rebounds and four steals. In a defensive battle versus Colby, the sophomore finished with nine points, 10 rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and three steals.

NESCAC Weekly Honor Roll
Amherst – In the Mammoths’ lone game of the week, senior Sylvia Liddle (Bovina, N.Y.) shot 62.5 percent from the floor (5-8) and scored 11 points in a 72-31 win over Albertus Magnus. Liddle added four rebounds and five blocks in the victory.

BatesElsa Daulerio (Harpswell, Maine) scored a season-high 20 points on 8-for-16 shooting to carry the Bobcats to a 61-50 win at Colby last week. The center also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds, dished out a team-high three assists, and blocked a pair of shots against the Mules. The senior followed that up with 14 points, team-highs of nine rebounds and four assists, and a game-high four blocked shots, and a steal against Bowdoin. Daulerio is averaging 2.3 blocked shots per game to lead the NESCAC.

Colby – Brooke Braen (Wyckoff, N.J.) gave the Mules a spark late in a setback against No. 6 Bowdoin. The first-year netted nine of her 12 points in the fourth quarter, including scoring on three consecutive possessions to cut the Polar Bears' lead to four. The rookie’s dozen points mark the most of her young career. 

Conn. College – Sofia Tavarez (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) averaged a team-high 15.5 points per game and shot 48 percent from the floor last week as the Camels split a pair of games that were decided on the final possession. The rookie finished with 15 points and supplied the game-winning bucket in a 73-72 victory at Framingham State, sinking a running jumper from the left elbow as time expired. Tavarez also led the Camels with 16 points in a 62-61 setback at Salve Regina, where she also handed out five assists.

Hamilton – Kendall Harris (Chapel Hill, N.C.) averaged 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocked shots in two games. Harris poured in a season-high 27 points and grabbed eight boards in a 65-49 setback at SUNY Geneseo. The junior was 5-of-8 from three-point range against the Knights. Harris chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds in a 70-64 loss at Rochester. The double-double was Harris' second this season and the 15th of her career. Harris was 8-of-13 from beyond the arc for the week.
 
Middlebury – Islay Moore (Cavan, Ontario) excelled in a 2-0 week for the Panthers, leading the team with 12.5 points per contest. The rookie scored 11 points and eight rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench in a 62-49 win over Skidmore. Moore capped the two-game slate with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting to pace the Panthers to a 73-37 win over Colby-Sawyer. The forward also added five rebounds and two assists against the Chargers. Moore’s performance helped extend Middlebury’s win streak to four straight games.

Trinity – Junior Marlo Simms (Decatur, Ga.) helped the 14th-ranked Bantams capture a pair of victories last week, averaging a double-double with 10.0 points and 15.0 rebounds. In a 68-60 win at Vassar, Simms netted 10 points with a game-high 14 rebounds and two blocks, followed by a 10-point, 16-rebound performance in a 61-36 victory over Rivier.

Tufts – Senior Annie Aspesi (Ardmore, Pa.) had a strong week in a pair of wins for the Jumbos, knocking off MIT and previously undefeated Brandeis. The senior averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.5 steals. After totaling 11 points against MIT, Aspesi poured in a career-high 23 points on 6-of-12 shooting. For the week, she shot 10-for-21 (47.5%) while making five of her 10 3-pointers (50%). 

Wesleyan – Senior Olivia Quinn (Franklin, Mass.) averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while playing all but two minutes in two games last week for Wesleyan. Quinn netted 29 points, scoring 21 in the second half, while going 11-for-11 from the free throw line in a 60-51 home win over Wheaton on Saturday. 

Williams – Kathleen Smith (Plaistow, N.H.) averaged 11.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game during a 2-1 week for the Ephs. The junior also shot a combined 15-for-20 from the field (75.0%). Smith was named the MVP of the Shooting Touch Tournament. In a 59-55 win over Eastern Connecticut State in the championship game, Smith netted a career-high 24 points, to go along with 12 rebounds, while shooting 10-of-14 from the field (71.4%).
