Four NESCAC Athletes Earn Men's Soccer All-America Honors from United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Americans, which included four players from the NESCAC: Tyler Huck (Bowdoin), Max Haberman (Conn. College) and the Tufts duo of Bijan Akhtarzandi-Das and Xavier Canfin.

Huck was named the NESCAC Player of the Year and garnered First Team All-NESCAC for the third consecutive year. The Player of the Year honor was bookend to Huck's career that started with NESCAC Rookie of the Year awrad in 2022. Huck has been the centerpiece of Bowdoin's success as the Polar Bears reached the quarterfinal round in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. He led the team with 13 goals and eight assists this season. Over his four-year career, Huck has totaled 34 goals, 19 assists, and 87 points—ranking third all-time at Bowdoin in each category.

As a midfielder, Haberman appeared in and started all 21 games for the Camels this season, while picking up NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Offensively, Haberman chipped in nine points on four goals and one assist, including two goals in the NCAA tournament, while helping the Camels keep 11 clean sheets. Haberman earns his first career All-American honors, becoming the 17th selection in program history. Connecticut College wrapped up the season with its third-straight appearance in the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, and the Camels' fourth NESCAC Championship game appearance in five years.

Akhtarzandi-Das picked up his first national honor as a junior, as he was named as a NESCAC First Team selection this fall. He was part of a defense that allowed just 11 goals, the fewest by a NESCAC team in 2025. He was an All-Region 1 First Team and All-NESCAC First Team selection.

Canfin is the Tufts' leading scorer with seven goals and six assists, as he was picked as an All-Region 1 First Team player as well as a All-NESCAC First Team pick. Canfin has been crucial to the team's offensive unit, which leads the NESCAC in goals per game with 2.41.

This year’s All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pa., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
